A cut above.
I wanted this to adjust the tracking force on my personal turntable. First, it works amazing with an eneloop aaa cell. I grabbed one that hasn't been charged in 5 years and the scale ran for 1/2 hour and was still going strong. Its a bit finicky attaching the arm and calibrating it. The video online seems to be for a slightly older revision. The little metal box it comes with is delightfull. It's super sensitive. There is a safety seal and an external as well as internal holographic seal. I'm guessing this is to help identify fakes. Other than that not.much to add. It is as advertised and well documented. It will live in my treasure box of audio oddities.

Works exactly as advertised
Solid product in a good case with a battery I will likely have on hand next time I need it

I have owned and used this since 2019 and it still works as good now, as when it was new.
I don't have to use this very often, only I'm when changing cartridges or if I have moved or changed something on the turntable, possibly 2 or 3 times a month. I find it highly accurate, very reliable, and also really easy to use. I always use the included 5g. weight to verify the scale's accuracy and it is always right on within .05g It is well worth the price and I highly recommend this for its accuracy. Having owned and used it for 4 years now, I wouldn't trade it for any other scale. I highly recommend this over any other scale and I have owned a few.

Best scale for the money
I’ve had other cheap scales but should have just gotten this one first. Firstly it uses a regular AAA battery so there’s likely always one available. Other scales I’ve had use coin cells which inevitably die after a while by the time you need it. This one also includes an adapter to measure the weight at the height of the record rather than the top of the scale, which helps in accuracy.

Accurate and repeatable readings
Got it up and running in a few minutes including calibration with the 5 gram weight and I didn't even read the directions (inherited that trait from my grandfather!) - after all, directions are only necessary if you get lost along the way to your destination and/or have little to no experience in working with technical things. As you can see in the photo, the stylus weight setting on the tonearm was extremely close to actual as indicated on the bright green digital display of the Riverstone Audio Record-Level Turntable Stylus Tracking Force Gauge/Scale. Make sure your turntable is level before making measurements (it should be leveled anyway before playing records). The unit turns off by itself as described by the manufacturer so no need for an on/off switch. But as someone else mentioned, remove the battery once you are done using it unless you set up turntables for a living and would need to use it every day. Batteries can leak in a device even if it is never turned on so don't take a chance - remove the battery when you are not going to use it for a few months. The display is not only bright but high contrast so you should be able to read it even in a brightly lit room. Like with any other precision measurement device, handle with care and it should last a long time. Some people complained that you have to assemble a cantilever record-level extension arm to use the device then disassemble the arm to put it back in its protective box but I didn't find that to be complicated or time-consuming. I guess some people aren't that dexterous.Another nice thing about this device is you can use it without the cantilever record-level extension arm to weigh objects up to 100 grams so while you aren't using it for stylus force measurement you can use it to measure the weight of your gold and silver coins you have stashed away for buying bread, milk, and toilet paper after the collapse of our economy from the pandemic!

Works Perfectly and great customer service!
The Riverstone Gauge is great value for money. It measures the same as my Rega MKII gauge which cost 5 times more. Tested on my Rega P8, under same conditions, you can see that the measures were the same. Having said that the Rega MKII is easier to use as it self calibrates and no attachment is needed to get the measurement (but not worth the significant additional cost in my opinion). Riverstone’ she customer service is 1st rate also, had a question and they replied very quickly. Very happy with the purchase and can readily recommend this to anyone that’s in the market for a tracking force gauge.

Accurate, essential tool for the vinyl enthusiast.
Tested against a set of scientific student weights .. very accurate. Love that the extension replicates the thickness of a record on the TT for perfect VTF measurements. Cons …. Really only one. Installing the extension is a bit of a clumsy process and it must be removed for storage and then reinstalled when you use the scale again.

Measured well , any position
Works better than cheap one that came with my total set from another co. Take measurements. First set up then repeat . Used on my linn axis with new audio techniques vm95 SH cartridge. Totally different than my older orthofon.
