A Very Good Coffee
Coffee, like wine, is a very personal choice. I am very lucky to have friends that roast coffee for a living and I normally get my coffee from them, but every once in a while life interrupts their business. When it does I order Alto Grande to see us through until they get back to roasting. Medium-dark roast with no bitterness (at least I brew it that way) it is a smooth and tasty brew with a slight chocolate flavor. I like it better than anything I can get at the grocery or big box stores. The ground is very expensive online but the whole bean is more reasonable.

Tasteful and balanced great tasting coffee!
I bought this coffee together with a 100% Kona and Britt coffee from Costa Rica.... I remember trying this coffee in PR that it was good... but to my surprise it tasted even better than the other 2 despite been the lower cost of the 3. I love it’s dark caramel vibrant color and bubbles. Aroma is intense and inviting and the taste is well balanced with rich wonderful coffee flavor that lingers in your mouth to give you full satisfaction.... the bag came with several broken beans, but it did not affected the flavor at all... I am repeating my order and setting up my subscription... Broken beans could be part of the magic!!!

Best coffee in the world
I have been buying Alto Grande Super Premium coffee for over 30 years. It was difficult to obtain because of limited production initially after Hurricane Maria, so I decided to help the local farmers and now I get the three 2lb bags of whole grain every six weeks. It always comes fresh in an airtight bag and distills the best aroma, great crema and a delightful after taste. My Jura coffee maker is the perfect way of obtaining the best flavor.

Solid dark roast
This is great for a solid dark roast flavor - not the strongest punch but good enough. Probably ideal for use with a dash of almond milk or brown sugar, and good on its own too.

Best Coffee in the World
I've been drinking this coffee for about 40+ years and have yet to find a better tasting coffee. This coffee is from Puerto Rico and it is well worth the price.

The Absolute Best Coffee in the World!!!
Several years back we missed our connecting flight from St. Kits to Miami in Puerto Rico and Delta put us up in a Hotel in Puerto Rico. My husband was so impressed with the coffee he wanted to know what brand it was. The waiter said it was “Alto Grande and it’s available in the Gift Shop.” The next morning after breakfast we headed to the gift shop and purchased coffee and when we got to the airport I found it in the gift shop cheaper and got some for my daughter. When I got home I went online and ordered 5lb bags of beans direct from the company for Christmas gifts for my 3 children! That’s how good this coffee is!!! I just recently found it on Amazon and have gone back to using it!
