Mrs Brown’s Boys: Unplugged & Unleashed - On Air Live [DVD]

I love Mrs brown s boys and my wife watches the dvds often it arrived way before time

This (originally) live broadcast takes the "playing to the camera" that's always been a little part of Mrs Brown to a new level. The decision not to (so far) have further series after no. 3 has probably been right. Although I love Mrs Brown's antics, there's only so far you can take a comedy centred on one family before it starts to become predictable and stale. I laughed more at the "mistakes" than anything else but at least this episode (and the inclusion of more "mistakes" in subsequent specials, has revived the format a bit. I rented the disc from LOVEFilm so fine. BUT, and it's a big but, had I bought this disc I'd have felt totally cheated given that it's essentially no more than a 35 minute episode. So 4 stars as a rental; as a purchase I'd have begrudged a single star.

My Nan laughed so much at this episode as she missed it when it was aired so I brought on here for her she said she watched twice one after the other.Also it came with a Mrs browns boys family tree book which was a bonus, absolutely hilarious this episode doesn't disappoint, saw reviews saying that it is pricey for one episode but you can't complain as it comes with the free family tree book and you can't buy happiness or laughter

Excellent episode especially the ad lib parts

This was a gift for a family member and they loved it so I was more than happy

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT !! Mrs BROWN is the biggest and funniest series to hit out tv screens ever,WELL DONE BBC.!! THIS DVD IS SET IN FAMILIAR SURROUNDINGS WHICH ARE 'COMFORTABLE ' AS THE HOUSE WE KNOW SO WELL. NEW BUT FAMILIAR SCENES.THATS NICE", AS MRS B WOULD SAY.
