โ โ โ โ โ These Socks Pulled My Hamstring Up to My Chin and Taught It Discipline
Let me be upfront: I have not kicked a soccer ball since a church picnic in 2004, where I missed the ball entirely, fell into a cooler, and was carried off by two Methodists. I bought these socks for "comfort." That was a lie I told myself. The truth is I saw those three white stripes and heard a stadium of 80,000 people chanting my name in a language I don't speak. You don't ignore a call like that. You click "Buy Now." The first thing you notice is the length. These are over-the-calf socks, which is marketing speak for "these go up so high they file taxes on your knees." I pulled them up and just kept pulling. I was concerned at one point they were going to meet my eyebrows. The compression is so secure that my calves finally feel held, supported, and heard. I had no idea my calves had emotional needs. My calves have gone to therapy for less. And the "Team Power Red"? That isn't a color. That's a threat. I wore them to the grocery store and a small child pointed at me and said "Mom, that man is about to take a free kick." I wasn't. I was buying cantaloupe. But I hit the checkout line from 25 yards out with the curl of a man who knows exactly where the upper-right corner is. The cashier gave me a yellow card for time-wasting, then asked for my autograph. Now, the "Cushioned Impact Zones." Adidas says these protect against the wear and tear of the game. What they don't tell you is they're perfectly engineered for the single most important skill in professional soccer: flopping. I tested it. A mild breeze brushed past my left shin at the park, and I collapsed to the grass clutching my leg like I'd been hit by a cement truck driven by a guy who hates me personally. The cushioning made it so comfortable that I rolled seven full rotations, screamed in three languages, then popped right back up once nobody was paying attention. A retired referee on a nearby bench looked me up and down, slowly nodded, and whispered, "You're ready for the World Cup." It's only one pair, which feels risky, but it's the correct number. Two feet, two socks. No drawer full of backups. No safety net. One pair. Like a Highlander. There can be only one. My other socks sensed it immediately. My white gym socks are now noticeably gray from stress. My dress socks moved to a different drawer. The ankle socks from that Forrest Gump incident started whispering about unionizing. Side effects may include: Feeling the irrational need to call it "football," then getting punched by an American Your shin guards finally feeling like they have a purpose in life Dramatically sliding into every doorway on your knees Running to the nearest corner flag and celebrating after finding your car keys Crying and swapping jerseys with strangers after every mildly competitive situation One minor complaint: my girlfriend refuses to let me wear them to bed. She says it's "weird" and "concerning" that I keep waking up mid-sprint yelling "MAN ON" at the ceiling fan. I've compromised. I sleep with one sock on. The other stays on the nightstand like a trophy, keeping watch. Final score: These Socks 5, My Dignity 0, VAR still reviewing. Worth every penny of the $9.60, and if you pay full price you deserve a red card.

Good quality
These socks are true to size. They are thick and work well. Easy to put on and stay in position. My child feels they are very comfortable. We initially bought to wear in games but now uses them for soccer practice. They wash up well, no fading or peeling

Almost Perfect Soccer Socks! โฝ๐งฆ
I bought the Adidas Copa Zone Cushion 5.0 Over The Calf (OTC) Soccer Socks in White/Team Power Red for my son on April 11, 2024. Weโre on a mission to find soccer socks with a toe seam that doesn't bother him, and these came close to being perfect! โญ 4.75 Stars Why We Like Them: Comfortable Fit: These socks are comfortable and provide good cushioning, which my son appreciates during his soccer games. Quality Material: The fabric feels durable and well-made, typical of Adidas products. Color and Style: The White/Team Power Red color combination looks great and matches his team colors perfectly. Why It's Not 5 Stars: Toe Seam: The toe seam is still a bit noticeable for my son. Itโs not too much of an issue, but weโre still on the hunt for that perfect pair. Sizing: We got a medium for his size 4Y feet, and theyโre just a tiny bit big, going above the knee. I would suggest getting a small for kids with size 4Y feet for a better fit. Pro Tips: Sizing : If your child is a size 4Y, go for the small size for a more comfortable fit that doesnโt go above the knee. Overall, these socks are a solid choice for young soccer players, offering good comfort and style. Weโre almost there in finding the perfect pair! โฝ๐งฆ

Great sock!
recently bought these soccer socks for my child, and Iโm really impressed with how well they perform! The material is soft yet thick enough to provide great support, and they stay in place during the entire gameโno slipping down or bunching up. They also have just the right amount of stretch, so they fit comfortably without being too tight. The cushioning around the foot and shin area helps protect against bruising, and the breathable fabric keeps their feet dry and comfortable, even after running around for hours. Iโve washed them a few times already, and theyโve held up well, maintaining their shape and color without any pilling or shrinking.
