I’m a big fan of this product, and this one in particular. Smells great, gives an excellent shave and lasts me about six months.

I bought this for my husband and he says it gave the best shave he's ever had. He uses a traditional barber style safety Razor and, along with this creme found it an excellent shave. The creme gave a nice thick lather which left his skin feeling soft and nourished. The scent is subtle, but stays nicely after the shave.

Oud can be one of those scents that is a little overpowering. But this is perfectly balanced and not too strong for a shaving cream. The cream itself is slightly softer than the more traditional creams and lathers up well. That does mean I seem to go through it much quicker. I like to mix up my shaving creams often, but I’ll definitely come back this one as a firm favourite. I have sensitive skin and didn’t notice any irritation or redness from using this one. Great scent and good quality!

This brand has been my go to shave cream for over 10 years now and it does not disappoint. It lathers up very nicely and makes for a wonderful shaving experience. I have dropped it to 4* from 5* as the initial fragrance is of Rose not Oud, the Oud comes in much later. Is this being picky? Maybe but this is a review and that is what it is for.

Husbands favourite shave products

Usually an excellent and reliable product. On this occasion it falls rather short of the expectation. The photos show why. All rather disappointing.

Una de las mejores cremas de afeitar que he probado. Un aroma suave te acompaña durante el afeitado, uno de los mejores de esta marca. Tiene la cremosidad perfecta, al ser como una mousse se puede secar si se deja el bote abierto pero viene con la humedad adecuada (si se seca un poco funciona igual pero se tiene que trabajar un poquito más al principio. Lo utilizo con un aceite de pre-afeitado con el que se compagina perfectamente (he probado varios y todos con buen resultado). Se consigue un mejor afeitado distribuyéndolo a contra pelo, levantando el pelo primero.

I have used numerous soaps, creams and in particular Taylor of Old Bond Street products throughout my life. This soap is right up there with the usual high quality of TOBS and the aroma is sublime. Wonderful, rich, balanced and diverse enough for winter or summer. My personal preference is spring through to early fall for this particular oud scent.
