Nice touch!
My wife has me putting the finishing touches on our coffee bar and I have searched for all possibilities online. We are creating things around the rustic western look with a touch of steampunk to them. Copper is a BIG part of the color scheme when it comes to steampunk. It is vintage and a natural color that adds a splash of color to completed furnishings around the house. With the 5 feet, I used it along the front rim of the top of the cabinet, waste high. I placed it along the top about an inch on. I used some double sided tape to keep it in place. I used copper furniture nails, that punctured through easily alone the edge about every inch. Then a carefully folded it over the front and then folded it underneath, where I nailed it to hold it in place. This looks sweet! It is already tarnishing and that adds to the quality and authenticity of the piece.

Great for etching.
This copper shim material has been really good for making delicately etched designs and accent pieces for art projects. I cut a piece off, paint it with black paint on both sides, and then use my laser cutter to burn away a design into the paint. Then I either use electrolysis baths, or acid baths (ferric chloride or a mix of muriatic acid + hydrogen peroxide (use the muriatic bath outside or the chloride gas will rust all your steel in your shop... ASK ME HOW I KNOW!! ... *sigh*)) to etch away the exposed copper. If trying to etch all the way through, try to face the design downward in the bath (acid) or directly toward the negative plate (electro) to try to prevent etch blooming and undermining (where copper gets pulled away from under the paint mask). Also, I found that by having a wider outline helps it "cut out" the over all piece, since more copper can be eaten away quicker. I have been able to make multi-depth etches by etching to a certain point, pulling out the piece, painting over the parts I don't want etched any more, and then going back into the etching solution. Similar variable depths can be achieved by using a spot electro etcher but that can take a lot of time.Over all, I get some pretty good etches with this. Going to try and make some clock hands next.

Good price
It's 1/32" shy of the 2" width ( 1-31/32" wide ) , which likely isn't a problem for most . It certainly isn't an issue on my end ..36 mm average thickness .Mechanical properties meet expectations .Good price .

This is beautiful
We needed just a small bit of copper flashing to replace a bit of flashing in an area under repair. We wanted to copper to match what was originally in place and what is used along the rest of the roof. This ended up being exactly what we needed. It was absolutely more than sufficient to replace the area under repair and was easy to work with. Our contractor was very pleased with the product we ordered, and made note of it for his own records so he could know how to track more down in the future,

Just shy of 2" but otherwise, appears to fit the description
I recently had my roof replaced and the contractors did a poor job around the chimney so I used this copper flashing where my chimney meets the roof.It came in plain clear plastic packaging and appears to fit the description but I did measure it anyways and found that it is 5' long but only about 1 15/16" wide. I took off a star for that since you're not getting what you paid for. Its' copper. It bends and cuts easily. I was easily able to finish my project with this. Unless you need the full 2" width, this should work as flashing for anyone looking to do a roofing project.Note: because its' copper, it will turn a dull brown color as it weathers and ages so if this is what you're looking for, there's no need to paint it.

Very nice piece of copper. Not only flashing but good for Heat Sink, Ground Plane, and lots of other cool things. Item comes well packed and very clean ( no tarnish ). It's a handy thing to have.
