I LOVE this book! This book is wayyy better than I was expecting. It's huge! I use this book constantly. Its packed with holistic remedies for all types of illnesses or health conditions. I appreciate the organization of the book and how detail it is. The book helps explain the differences and usages of all the essential oils. Best practices for them and recipes in the back.I also bought a book for my sister to help her understand essential oils. The book helps explain it soooo well. It can be overwhelming to know what does what, how many drops for this or that - oral, topical etc.. this book has you covered.I would highly recommend this for anyone who loves essential oils!

This book is absolutely great! The hardcover edition is very nice quality! This book is organized so well and it doesn't contain a bunch of fluff and filler. It has a great layout. A very detailed table of contents so you can quickly and easily find what you're looking for! It even includes an index in the back!In this book, you will find some history on Essential Oils, you will learn to spot quality products, it will teach you how to safely use the oils, it will teach you the different uses for oils... many of which have multiple uses. It will tell you things like which oils are not safe to use while pregnant and which oils are not safe to use around your beloved pets. Some oils are toxic to dogs and cats! It tells you which oils are not safe for children and it tells you how to safely apply the ones that are.One of the things I love the most are the recipes! There are recipes for snacks like Apple Cinnamon Bread... Recipes for dinners like Orange Teriyaki Salmon... Recipes for side dishes and soups, desserts... And then there are recipes for things like cough syrup, burn salve, bug spray, household cleaner, laundry soap, shampoo, sunscreen, mouthwash, toothpaste and so much more!There is a vast amount of information all wrapped up in this one simple to use, easy to understand book!

Very knowledgeable book

I am acquainted with Dr. Axe through his web site and have found his information very good. This book on Essential Oils is quite informative and I refer to it quite a bit.

When I moved back to PA after a 12 year interlude, I was amazed to again meet people who used essential oils and other alternative means to solve a skin problem or digestive issue or insomnia. As I had the information from a decade of searching, this book was a gift for the mother of three who chose organic. It opens flat! I leafed through it and found it perfect. 1. the print is large enough to see. 2. it is "full color" which is a rarity. 3. the first section is information. second part are recipes. The idea is to make tiny amounts for use that week. NOT a year's supply.

Tremendous amount of information on essential oils.
