Brilliant product worth the price, works very well
Brilliant products, they arrived in a small bag, popped them into some almond milk and within 24 hrs I have kefir. Works fast. You look and think is this ok? It separates and looks like yellow water with milk lumps, but this is good. Then seive off into a glass jar, keep in fridge. Tastes a bit fizzy this is good too. I'm doing some coconut cream at moment. The grains are like bits of wet rice, so easy to see and seive off. It is so easy to make and very quick. When you want a rest keep them in fridge in a little kefir for a few days until ready to use. Don't use anything metal only wood, plastic or glass otherwise the electrical charge from metal affects the kefir I believe. If you think about how much they charge for kefir in the shops this works out really cheap and pays for itself really quick.

I advise you to get it
They worked very well I put them in 250 ml warm goat milk and one spoon of goat yoghurt and one spoon of cream in glass jar and covered it with a towel and it was ready after 36 hours

Great Kefir
Took a while to get the first fermentation going, probably due to low room temperature, but we are now enjoying great tasting kefir daily. We do an initial fermentation around 18hrs, strain and then a second fermentation with some added fruit at room temperature and then chill before serving. Worth noting that the grains multiply so it doesn't take long to get several batches going. Great grains, thank you.

Makes a fizzy kefir
It makes Kefir very quickly, usually over a couple of days, but the resultant is quite fizzy. Not really to my liking.

Top vendor.
A quality product ready for use and already producing results. The first delivery of my kefir grains went astray but a second item was sent immediately after the vendor was made aware of the missing item. Top quality service and a good product.

Total rip-off
TOTAL SCAM- Very disappointed,I followed their instructions to the letter, only to be disappointed that after 24hrs at room temperature of 21-23 degrees, the kefir had not fermented, no bubbles , no separation, no whey forming, or any of the kefir gathering at the top, I even allowed it another 5 hrs hopping for it to ferment, that’s 29hrs so all I got is just ordinary milk with no taste or sign of kefir. Total scam , I will not buy from this seller again. £9+ for a tiny amount of kefir grains , which doesn’t even work. Total rip-off.

Quality of finished product
This product came a day early. Put to use straight away. I'm so pleased I've decided to purchase this. First batch took a half day longer. The grains have now doubled in less than a week. Producing excellent Kefir. No comparison to what I was buying in supermarket and paying £3.50 per bottle. You will not regret if you purchase this product. Perfect

Vegan friendly
I stopped using Kefir grains some years ago when I found that I am allergic to dairy. However I read that non-dairy milk can be used so I bought some grains. It took about 4 days for my first batch of kefir and it was rather zingy. After that it has only taken 24 hours and the result is tasty and creamy. I use Soya growing up milk. I also found that if I didn’t wash up the container it was too zingy for me so now I wash up the container before I replace the grains and add the milk. Really pleased with the product and the benefits to my gut which have been noticeable. Really recommend.

Great keffir
It took some time (10 days or so) to get the order into NL from the UK but once received I put the microbes to work in fresh milk following the instructions provided. Reviving the kefir granules took a while initially but worked. Repeating the fermentation process a few more times (4+ litres of milk and several fermentations later) and the kefir flavour started to improve. Distinct granules of kefir began to appear fairly quickly in this initial stage. if you notice any rancid milk flavour, I would recommend washing the granules with filtered water, provided you have a good conglomeration of grains. You will definitely need a plastic kefir-friendly sieve to recover the larger granules and to wash them in if necessary. After a month I now have over a tablespoon of thick granules and these make a terrific kefir in 1L of milk over a 24 hour period. The result is quite thick so it might soon be time to use more milk. I use a Brod and Taylor folding proofing oven to ferment my kefir, set at 23 degrees Celcius. At first I also used a Brod and Taylor sour-dough starter-fridge to revive the kefir in 250mL milk, then moved to the proofing oven once I started fermenting in 1L batches. The Brod and Taylor appliances help make the process fool proof. I use organic (biologische) full cream milk and although I am lactose intolerant, the small cup a day of kefir poses no problems.
