The pen is by no means super sturdy if you have a puppy or dog determined to get out. I still gave five stars because I did not expect super sturdy, and it serves the purpose of a basic barrier, keeping your pet safe while letting them be around you outside of their crate while you are working or doing other stuff the dog cannot help with. We used it for a Labrador puppy (10 weeks). While it will not last when the puppy grows up (except maybe as a mental barrier), it has been great for letting him split room space between tile and carpet as well as to bring him outside so that we can do yard work while he can still see us and play. It has also been great to help get the cat used to the new puppy in her space!It has stood up well in an irregular shape (sort of lightbulb ish) without the adhesive, but, to those wanting to use it for a long, straight barrier, it is much more flimsy/likely to tip over then. If that is all you are looking to use it for, you will definitely need the adhesive and maybe another way to brace it. If you are able to have angles in the pen shape, it will be much sturdier (but still not likely to stand up to any concerted effort by your dog). Overall, especially for the price, it works great as a basic barrier that lets your dog be near you without constant oversight to make sure he is not chewing the floor boards, etc.

Bought 2 sets. Wanted to have an enclosed area in front of our RV when camping, for the pups to be able to go out without a leash. I would have given 5 stars except for the doors. They open center of the panel, not all the way to the top, making it harder for us humans to step over the fence.

Panels came in two sections of six panels each which made them very convenient for multiple uses. They are lightweight but sturdy which makes them highly transportable. I did not use any of the hardware that came with it. I had gotten them for travel with my elderly dog and they made it very convenient to block her into a smaller area of a room or to act as a temporary gate at our Airbnb. I'm sure a larger or pushier dog would have moved them around but that's true of anything of this style. Overall I was very pleased for the value.

I have a large fenced back yard. There are times like “last call” at night I want to keep the 3 poodles closer to the patio and this works great. I have a bunch of these. Should work for pups very well.

Great for our baby kittens as we foster this is helpful to keep them all in one area. Easy to put together and use.
