Much brighter than expected!

The “Vintage Light Bulbs, NATIONALMATER ST64 Vintage LED Filament Bulb, 8W LED Bulb, 500LM, Clear Soft White 2200K, E27 LED Bulb, 50W Incandescent Equivalent, 1-Pack [Energy Class A++]“ arrived four days after ordering in good condition and were well packaged, with great communication in terms of both dispatch and delivery.terms of the consumer packaging it comes in a brown cardboard box with good quality printing in it with a plastic cradle to hold the bulb securely in place.The bulb that I purchased as a E27 filling for use in my living room where I have glass fittings with vintage style filament bulbs that don’t seem to have that great a longevity, hence why I was keen to try an LED version but hadn’t done so until I saw this bulb as al lot of LED bulbs are far from aesthetically pleasing. The bulb itself looks great with the LED’s looking like filaments from a normal viewing distance and the shape of the bulb giving fantastic vintage look to match the fitting it is in. The glass of the bulb is crystal clear unlike some other LED bulbs that I have, which means you get the full benefit of the 8-watt output form the bulb.The bulb fits in to a standard E27 socket without any problems what so ever and being 8w gives a really good light. It’s not bright enough to light a large room on its own (I have two fittings in my living room and am so impressed with this bulb that I will be buying another to go in to the other fitting for when the traditional filament bulb currently in it goes), but there again this is made clear by the wattage. I have been gradually changing all the bulbs in my house over to LEDs and this is definitely the best looking and most decorative one that I have bought and doesn’t have the budget sci-fi movie look that some of them do.Overall this is a very good bulb that gives a great light which I would not hesitate to recommend.Please note that I received this item for a discount in exchange for an honest, unbiased review which I have given.

I have some lovely vintage light fittings which came with some filament bulbs which lasted all of 5 minutes. I have slowly been changing them over to LED which have the same look and last.I have been using this LED bulb for a couple of days, It has a nice light, the newer LED bulbs have a much more gentle light than ones that were out a couple of years ago.It looks like a old vintage lightbulb which is great as it matches the vintage light fittings.I really have been very happy with this so far. ** Please note: I was kindly sent a sample of this product to test and to give my honest opinion in the form of a review **Vintage light bulbs are fast becoming all the rage and most of them are based on the beautifully designed on an Edison Incandescent Light Bulb and this E27 LED light bulb from Nationalmater is one of the best I have used.  The bulb itself measures 14.22cm in height by 6.35cm in diameter, it is designed in the standard vintage incandescent style with a non dimmable tungsten style filament and an energy rating of A++, it also has a large screw bayonet fitting.  Although these light bulbs can be used with a shade, I feel that these vintage style bulbs are too beautiful to hide and should be in full view.  We live in a 200 year old house and we are using one of these bulb as the ceiling light in our snug where it looks perfect, as if it is meant to be there.This bulb from Nationalmater is extremely well made and the metal screw bayonet is smoothly finished.  It is a 8W (50 watt equivalent) multi filament bulb which throws out a lovely warm white light creating a cosy atmosphere.  I love the craftsmanship that has been put into the design of this bulb taking you back to a time, where pride in the manufacture and design of a product actually mattered.We have had this bulb in our snug for slightly under a month and we have had no problems at all, it does not flicker nor does it dim and then brighten again on occasions as some other LED light bulbs have a habit of doing.Well done Nationalmater ... a beautifully crafted Edison Styled Energy Saving Light Bulb.
