Very warm thick pile fleece that keeps you warm in the coldest ski conditions

Bought this jacket for sailing and it totally lives up to the expectations not just onboard but off the water as well. It is warm and fairly windproof. If it gets really cold, combine it with a vest and you are set. fits great looks great, I'm super happy with it.

Positives:The hood is warm and well sized. Wind resistant panels are effective in keeping this piece warm. Upper arm patch pocket is large enough to hold a phone; its not just aesthetic. Good fit. Good zippers, and zipper pulls.Negatives:The "Sheepskin-like" fleece material rapidly becomes matted and its underlying interfacing shows rapidly. This is extremely ugly and cheap feeling. Didn't even last a whole season without cuffs becoming flattened and matted. Material should be replaced with a more durable fleece (think north face denali) or softshell material. Alternatively, the black wind resistant panels should be extended to high contact areas (elbows and bottom of the forearm, cuff adjustment)Rivet buttons on the cuff lack adequate adjustment; they are either too tight or too lose. It should be a velcro cuff strap in the black material.Needs more pockets. Pockets could be added to the top wind resistent panels for a napoleon pocket, for added transportability.
