I'd start my hike with Darned Toughs, which are on the thick side. Then after a few hours switch to these to give my feet a different feel. No blisters.

I wear a size 9/9.5 and the large size is perfect. The XL is only a little bit bigger so I doubt people with 11+ will find them comfy.In any case, these are the only socks I have found that are thin, with the tab (so they don't slip down past your heel!!!), that are seamless (for ultimate comfort) and also hold up (0 holes even when my toenails are too long!). I ordered my first one 5 years ago (in 2015) and they are still working great. In the winter, these are too thin on the east coast but for every other season these are my go to.They are super expensive, so i've kept trying other random socks through the years but I always go back to these. I actually ordered two more today. I'm writing this review because the 3.7 rating (current) is super misleading.Also, for some reason the white socks seem a little smaller than the black after washing. I wear an XL in white and a L in black.

I just reviewed my first purchase of wright socks ultra thin tab (large) was 8/28/16. I have ordered since 15 or so more pairs. I have only lost 3 to date with holes. In the same time i probably had lost 10 or more other branded but much thicker and heavier socks. I am not hard on them but occasionally do wear them without shoes around the house. I do wear a lot of tennis shoes and so Im daily driving wright socks, they are fantastic!The fact i have only lost 3 have me sold, as paying 11 dollars for a pair of socks seems insane, the quality and endurance these have, calm my fears on value. These are really the best socks i have ever bought and will continue as i have slowly ridden myself of all the other "name" brand socks i usually bought.Wright Socks, you CANT go WRONG!

I prefer a thin sock. Thick socks cramp my feet. I recently discovered that my favorite workout socks were some thin bamboo dress socks I accidentally wore to the gym, so I've been trying to find that same feel in a sock. This sock is super thin and super comfortable. I've no idea how long it will hold up. It beat out some Feetures that cost twice as much and some Drymax that cost $2 more per pair, so I'll be happy if I get couple of dozen of wears out of it. I'm surprised at the reviews complaining about it being small. I ordered a large, and I wear a size 11 shoe. It's nice and roomy, especially compared to the super constricting Feetures.

If you like a sock that is thin and allows for tactile feel of a really good running or athletic shoe, then this is the best out there. These sock are as thin as a thin pair of dress socks. They are not tight; rather they provide a snug fit that prevents abrasion and blisters. No slip material also means better athletic performance. Finally, they provide effective targeted compression to the arch and heel. They are also very comfortable. Overall, my favorite pair of socks for athletics and everyday life.Another plus: They are made in the USA.Love these socks

WrightSocks are my favorite pair of runinng socks and for a reason - the oldest ones that I have in regular use are 10 years old and still show no sign of damage and the fit is still great. There is 'climate control' with these socks and I never experienced any discomfort or blisters even after very long runs. The closest thing to wearing no socks with your running shoes. The new ones are no exception. I was concerned as they are advertised for men but the size medium fits just great and they are snug as they should be. Mind you, I read several negative reviews by buyers who used them as a replacement for regular socks, they are for running and advertised as such.

I had bought some Wright Ultra Thin socks years ago, and they were great. But they finally got threadbare, so I bought another pair here. Unfortunately, they are NOT "ultra" thin, they are rather thick, and make my sneakers tight. Also, they run VERY small, sizes smaller than listed. I should have gone up a size.

These socks are so comfortable. My women's shoe size is 8, and the medium fit perfectly. I'm very happy that a friend told me about these socks. Although there are less expensive socks around, these will be good value if they last longer than others I have purchased in the past. I am washing them as recommended and air drying them, as recommended, so I expect these socks to last a long time.

Love this product. I sought it out since I had bought one pair at a tennis shop years ago and it’s always been my favorite. Very lightweight and gives your toes room to breathe and it’s just the most excellent socks I’ve ever had for sports.
