You lose the luxury of 4K image, but man, is this cool
For months, now, I've been looking for a way to use my PC remotely with the least amount of latency! For a little while I used Parsec. It's about as good as you get as far as wireless remote desktop services, and it's one of the only plug-and-play solutions that will utilize LAN/WLAN to work as a remote desktop. I wanted something that I could use to have my computer run on a screen in my bedroom, or my living room. Usually you'd just use a long HDMI cable, but I needed audio and USB data communication for a keyboard and mouse.I hooked this up to a 50ft ethernet cable and ran it into my bedroom. I don't mind wires, so long as there is a noticeable advantage over wireless remote desktops. Let me tell you, though, there is a HUGE difference. It's like your computer is 5 feet from your screen. I hooked this up to a monitor in my bedroom and spent the night playing video games, just dumbfounded at how cool this was. There was some artifacts here and there, but the signal was being transmitted on a 50ft cable. The only issue with this is, as far as I know, you can't run the transmitter into your ethernet switch/router and hook the receiver up to another port. The network noise seems to keep the receiver and transmitter from talking to each other, although there may be a way to make this work.If this technology can be refined, there are a lot of different possibilities. You could set your PC in your closet, near your router, maybe, and run a KVM over ethernet system to multiple different monitors in your home, allowing you to do anything on your office computer, or play anywhere on your Xbox/PS5.I think the only thing keeping this from being practical, though, is that there are only two USB ports. That's fine for a keyboard and mouse, but I find myself needing to plug in lots of different things at once. The other problem is that the video transfer is capped at 1080P, at 60fps. I'm unsure as to how much you can cram into a single ethernet cable, but until USB-C is widespread enough to be routed through new construction homes, this might just be your best bet for remote desktop solutions, at least in your home.I know there are commercial solutions that have massive powerhouses that multiple people use at one time, but that requires a ton of specialized, expensive equipment. For residential and hobbyist purposes, this will be perfect.I'm thoroughly impressed with how plug-and-play ready this is, and I'm excited to use it more.

It...mostly works?
I wanted to write this review because when I purchased this kit, most of the reviews were from Amazon Vine customers. Not to say their reviews are wrong per se, but like most things on Amazon, price is a huge factor on whether or not an item is worth it, and can affect the review of the item (mine included).I paid $70 for this kit on sale, and for that price I would say it's worth it. It hits it's main selling point--it does do 4k at 60hz, and it handles that very well. This kit is connected to an LG OLED C3, and the devices are connected through roughly 100' of Cat6 Ethernet cable. There is no noticable input lag and it very much is plug and play, with little to no configuration of the devices themselves. It fits that bill quite nicely. Now, for the issues. The "KM" part is quite finicky. I can use one USB port reliably for either keyboard or mouse, but it really doesn't seem to like using both at the same time. This is one of my main gripes, as this is supposed to be a KVM and not just video--I bought this with the need of it being a KVM, and why I deducted a star. As well, I have only been able to use keyboard and mouse. USB hubs or gamepad wireless adapters (Xbox) will not work for me. Also, this kit does not support PoE, so it requires power adapters on both ends, and the power adapter cables are pretty short.Another thing I'm not crazy about is lack of documentation for this product. The product description on Amazon tells you very little on what it is and isn't capable of, so here is what I have found:4k 60hz works great. No issues there. My computer will allow 120hz when at 1080p but I am not sure if it is actually outputting at that frequency. Lag, to me, is not noticable. This kit will not support either HDR or variable refresh rate (GSync). HDR simply won't work, and GSync caused intermittent black screens and flickering.Overall, I am pleased with the kit *for what I paid for it*. The normal price for this kit puts it in competition with all the other kits so I cannot say what makes this better over other options. For the price however, it mostly does it's job, and it works ok for what I need it for, which is to be able to access my computer in my living room while keeping my PC away from the hands of my two year old. It's really cool tech and the price and performance, to me, makes up for its pitfalls. I'm sure there are better options out there but for $70 I can't really complain too much.

Answer to the complaints of others at home!
This PWAY branded HDMI KVM USB Extender Over Ethernet was the answer to my prayers as my father-in-law could never seem to get a good quality signal in one area of the house. Being able to AV signals up to 50 meters over Ethernet meant that my FIL could load videos and get a higher quality signal (and stop complaining). This extender allows for keyboard and mouse control without any noticeable lag.

Video works great, only works with keyboard and mouse USB devices
I got this HDMI/USB extender in part to run a laser cutter in another room, in addition to the obvious uses of a KVM. On the plus side, keyboards, mice, and 1080p video all worked well of it, with no noticeable latency. However, I was quite disappointed that only keyboards and mice worked over the USB. My laser cutter did not, and multiple USB webcams I tried did not. So if you just want it for KVM, it should work just fine, as even my wireless mouse worked over it with the receiver plugged in, but for anything else, you'll have to look elsewhere as I do.

Works up to 150 ft...
Works fine up to 150 ft with a quality cat 7 cable, but adding only a few feet more, also with cat 7 cables and a wall plate, blinks in and out. Adjusted EID many times but never was solid. Am returning.
