These are absolutely excellent for thorn throwing because you can put your thumb in that hole with the proper hand grip and keep it nice and tight so you can easily drag your finger along the back, in order to reduce spin. You can also flip them over then do the same in order to reduce spin for more distance throws. It will spin but it's like a manipulated spin so you can choose how much it's spinning through the air. Like a mix between spin throw and thorn throw so you still drag your finger along the back so that it only spends a certain amount based on distance. Either way they work really good for my style of throwing which is a mix depending on distance.

WOW just got these (11-13-23), and after supper I had to go throw them. I thought they were very nice looking, feeling, and throwing! These are the heaviest throwers I have now in my collection. I had to definitely up my arm power to get to stick to end-grain target(s) since they’re so thick and just over 10 inches. But no complaints here.HITDUDU really gives you a Beast of a thrower for your money with these called the Butcher. And they’re model called the Beak are nice too. I’m a senior and retired so these are probably gonna be as heavy as I go from here on out. The quality is there as well in these things. I’m real pleased with them initially and they seem indestructible.If your thinking about getting a set your gonna be glad you did. These things are Beefy so I think the name of the Butcher is spot on indeed. STAY THIRSTY MY FRIENDS

The media could not be loaded. At first I was disappointed with these knives, but sticking with practicing with them after a few times these are actually prettt bad a$$, they are heavy metal so wont bend, chip, crack, or break, but I definitely would not say they are "easy" to throw, as you need to throw them really hard to get them to stick. Initially I wasn't pleased and was gonna send them back, but after using them a bit im gonna keep them.

i returned the first three "butchers" because they were not pointy enough for my no spin. but i learned half spin. so i bought six. they are great for half spin because of the extra power. now i like them.

I was all set to spend hundreds of dollars on some custom thrower's but I thought I would give these a try. I love them, I am in a throwing league and after a little getting used to my score went way up. The only issue is the blade is a bit too thick to stick well so I thinned the blade end a bit on a belt sander and now they work great

Good size/weight, and a tip that doesn't need to be refined at all out of the box but totally safe false edges. Wish the steel was slightly harder as the handle seems to easily dent/burr in ways that could be unpleasant for your hand - keep a file handy. Handle might be a little too wide for comfortable nospin throwing grips if you have small hands or are used to smaller knives.

These are amazing, I'm so happy Hitdudu is making high quality throwing knives at a fraction of the price of some other major brands! Seriously, these are just as good as acejet knives at $10 per knife (instead of $100).These throwers are a unique shape and great for no-spin and full-spin throwing. They stick amazingly well into hard wood where some of my other knives will bounce off. The only disadvantage of this shape is that they are not very good for half-spin throwing... but I personally don't do much half-spin anyway.

I'm not an avid knife thrower, but I enjoy it as a pass time, and have had several different types. When I got these, I was expecting them to be the most basic ones in my collection, but they stand out... by a couple pounds. I can't believe how big they are!!! They are a bit longer than my others, but they are substantially more thick and heavy. They aren't sharp, but I don't think they need to be with this much heft behind them. I imagine they will last forever, and I am stoked!
