So far I am very happy with this charger. I love how you are able to not only charge your MacBook, but also iPhone from the same base at the same time! It is lightweight and portable. And the best part are the little things, such as being able to unplug the cord from the charger for easier stowage, and the indicator light on the charger itself so you know it is plugged in when you are just charging your phone - these features are icing on the cake. Additionally the cable and cord are amply long. Perhaps the best feature is that the charger base has a cord that plugs into the outlet. In the previous aftermarket charger I purchased from a different company, it had the plug in the base only - which is what ultimately caused it to fail. A base is too heavy to plug into a wall socket without it damaging the prongs. With this base you don't have to worry about that, nor do you have to worry if there will be enough room to accommodate your base on a power strip. You simply run the cord and plug it in. My hope is that this will last much longer than the after market charger I purchased from a different company (that one lasted 4 months and then failed). I really hope the quality is as fantastic as the design - because I love the design and am totally sold on it!

I've been using this for close to a year now. At first, I wanted to give it a week or a month before reviewing it. But then, using it got so natural that I didn't even realise I was using a replacement charger. It's long, strong, and durable. No breaking or anything like that. It's just great.It's also very convenient that it has a USB port to charge my phone. I don't know who thought of it but... Genius! No need to carry an extension anymore.Overall, great charger! I'd say "I'd buy again", but I doubt this one's lifespan would expire anytime soon. It still looks and works like the the first day I got it.One of my best purchases on Amazon.

Read the reviews before I bought. Seems like they worked out all the bugs, and this product works great. The usb port is very convenient for charging my phone. My last non-apple charger was horrible. If this lasts a year, I'll get a second one as back up. The cord is very long. I don't know that it charges really quickly, but I do know that it charges and that everything stays plugged in. I'm very impressed. And it's a great price compared to the apple charger I got with my mac which started fraying a year or two in exposing the wires which was very dangerous. I ended up having to replace it a year ago (I'd had it for 4 years I believe, frayed and jacked up looking). Hoping this product lasts awhile and that the quality continues to improve or even stays the same. Would recommend.

The product arrived, quickly, on time. It works as advertised. For me the best part was paying less than half price for what the comparable product would have cost from Apple. Apple's design of this simple cord is very poor. My use is very mild. I just use my laptop around the house so the charging cord basically stays in one place - on my desk. Even with that light usage the cord began to fray. Then to add insult to injury Apple charges a predatory price for the same old poorly designed cord. I'm sure it makes for great margins for Apple but also makes for at least one unhappy customer.I am usually leery of buying third party products to replace electronic parts. This charger had good reviews though and the price was very attractive. I've been using it for about a week now and it charges rapidly and reliably. Only time will tell but it looks like this one has been designed to be a little tougher. So far they have a satisfied customer, willing to check out other items in their product line.If your hesitating to take the plunge I'd recommend going for it. Based on my experience you would be getting good value.

I hate to write this review...but I depend on honest feedback from other buyers on Amazon, so I'll do that here. The seller seems great. Quick shipping, clear communication, and the product arrived as described in the listing. Based on the reviews, it seemed like I'd purchased a solid replacement for my Macbook power supply and saved some money.Unfortunately, after charging overnight the first time, my Macbook started acting weird the next day. It wouldn't boot...big flashing "question mark" on the screen. After some time on the phone with Apple Support, we resent the SMC Controller which allowed for a successful reboot. Same problems resurfaced the next day even though I stopped using the new power supply (on a hunch). Multiple SMC resets and then a trip to the Genius bar revealed that the Logic Board needed to be replaced.It's certainly possible that all of this is a coincidence. Maybe a computer that had never given a moment's trouble decided to die less than 24 hours after plugging in this new power supply...but I don't think so. I saved $50 on a non-Apple and spend $550 on a new logic board. I wish I could go back and do that again.FYI - the Seller promptly refunded my money on the power supply. They've been polite and helpful. But I'm still out a LOT of money and a good bit of trouble.

It works. It actually works better than the original Apple charger.This is not a copy cat of the Apple Magsafe 2 T-tip charger originally supplied with the MacBook Pro circa 2013+. It is a totally different design with a larger adapter unit that first plugs into 110V with a cord and not directly with the adapter like the original Apple charger. Plus you can plug in an additional USB cord to charge an iPhone or iPad. Charging your MacBook Pro and another device at the same time.This is a great unit for traveling - one adapter for two gadgets. Works great - better than the original Apple charger - with international power plug adapters too when traveling ex-US.Highly recommended as a replacement or additional charger option for the MacBook Pro along with other USB charged devices.
