No it does not have a formal luggage trap. But you can use the duffle handles to go over the luggage handle.

Q: Does this bag flop over when empty? I need a bag with a study base that doesn’t fall over when empty.

This bag does not stand up on its own.

Q: What’s the inside color?

The inside is with white with red thin Stripes. It's the same with all their Strand Duffel Bags. I have 5 of them -EPP
