Nice sized bottle of VO5 with an extra body formula that voluminizes hair nicely. It has a nice scent, lathers well and adds beautiful shine to the hair leaving hair clean and fresh. It has a lightweight formula and I like the consistency of the shampoo. It's easy to rinse and doesn't take much for desired result. I like the ingredients and it looks good for general hair health and longevity. You can't go wrong for the value. Recommended for the volumizing and value.

For a cheap shampoo it sure works well. My hair is shiny and it combs out easily after washing. It was a good purchase when I was broke one day. If I ever need to save money again on a shampoo, I will buy this again.

This is some old school shampoo. It's inexpensive but it works great! It's all I buy.

While you can buy the 18 oz at the dollar store it is like 25 cents more expensive. Doing the math it is like .6 more per oz. I feel like my hair doesn't get clean with this shampoo I do scrub it in really well. But I think it helps that I have straight hair that can withstand 40 volume creme developer. I also use the same brand condition and I do fell like afterwards my hair is soft. The scent is okay but my conditioner is the strawberry one so afterwards it does smell good.

it's good for the price. smells fine, cleans your hair and stuff. it's a little on the runny side, so be careful when you spray it on yourself. i would imagine it has a typical life time of a shampoo bottle, but i only used it once so far because my september shower is already complete. next month i'll give 'er a second test run, maybe ill be back. depending on how good it is. so far its been good, but great? only time and Kevin will tell

If you need a basic shampoo that works and is a great value, here's your product. My Son isn't really concerned with softness or shine of his hair so it isn't really relevant for us. Not particularly moisturizing but not drying either. Just use a good conditioner. Lathers well. Scent isn't great, nor is it bad. You won't notice it at all after your hair is dry. For $1, you can't really complain about the quality or it not being anything other than a solid basic choice. If you are going for softness and shine, again....you need a high quality conditioner with it. If you are broke and needing something that will do the job, you can't go wrong here. I have paid more money for worse hair products many times.

It’s a very good no nonsense shampoo. Smells fresh and cleans your hair without stripping or drying it out. Doesn’t clog pores too. It’s even ok to use everyday or every other day.
