Mens UPF 50+ Fishing Shirts, Long Sleeve UV Sun Hoodie, Hiking Running Swim Athletic Workout Shirt

I bought this specifically for summer hiking, and it exceeded my expectations. I recently wore it on a challenging nine-mile hike that included everything from dense forest canopy and high brush to long stretches of exposed sun in 90-degree weather. There were plenty of ticks in the area, so having full arm coverage gave me some extra peace of mind without making me feel overheated. The fabric is lightweight, breathable, and did an excellent job wicking away sweat while keeping the sun off my skin. I've learned that, especially on long hikes, a lightweight long-sleeve sun shirt is actually a better trade-off than a short-sleeve shirt. Staying out of direct sunlight helped me stay more comfortable throughout the day, and the added protection from brush, insects, and ticks was a huge bonus. This shirt was comfortable from start to finish, never felt restrictive, and has definitely earned a permanent spot in my hiking gear. I'd absolutely buy another one.

Four Stars because I got two (in different colors). The first one (teal) is perfect, but this one has a manufacturer blemish or it's unfinished; I'm not sure. (See pics). Info: I'm 5'11 and 173lbs. I always size up because I don't like tight fitting clothes. I also have pancolitis, so it's painful to wear anything that even rests on the area, so loose fitting clothes is the most comfortable. If I didn't have pancolitis, I'd get a large. It's also lightweight, which is nice. The material isn't stiff and I find it very comfortable. The xl is perfect in my opinion. It's loose without being "baggy" and it doesn't build up or hold static electricity, so it doesn't cling to you. Love the thumb holes for those cooler days (and they're just fun). The hood is a plus too because it actually covers your head. To me, that makes a difference over other hoods that stop at the top of your forehead. The first shirt I got has been through the wash, but you wouldn't know it. I haven't had it long, but so far, so good. My one con, is on this black one, ok... two cons (though one isn't a deal-breaker) and that is... the black isn't really "black". It's not jet black. It's close, but it's more like a very dark grey. It's fine. What's not fine is that on the hood, there is a bit of a dangly piece. Not a thread, but a group of threads. My instinct is to cut it off, but I'm afraid too, because if I do, everything might come unthreaded. If I cut it, I'll certainly have loose threads after that, and that will also void the warranty or return policy. I like the shirt, I want to keep it, but I can't use the hood if I do, so I'm going to return it, but ask for an exchange. Accidents / defects happen, I get that. Hopefully, I can exchange it for another and the new one is perfect just like my first. Overall, I really like the shirt. I recommend it, and size is American accurate. Size up 1x if you want a looser fit. I'd give 5 stars if not for the chunk of threads hanging down on one shirt forcing me to exchange.

Excellent shirt. Feels cool on and dont get overheated even in the direct sun on a 87 degree day. The fit is fine albeit slightly larger than expected I guess, but just fine really. I’ll wash them and see how they hold up. I’ll report back if anything changes. Looks foo too.

Fantastic shirt. I'm about 5'11 189lbs and got the medium gray khaki. It fits like a glove. Wore it out in the yard with direct sun and high 80's. It's very lightweight and comfortable. Any breeze will cool you right through it. I highly recommend it.

Excellent sun shirt! Like others have said, sleeves a bit long. That's good! You're able to cover your hands and use the thumb hole which keeps the shirt in place. The shirt does not pull when that happens. It's not too long, just long enough. Good hood to protect the head. Fits well too! Highly recommended!

I purchased a 3X and it fits very nicely it's not too big or too small fit's just right. It's comfortable thick and light at the same time. I've never owned one with a hood or little slits in the rest areas to put my thumbs through but it is helpful to have my body even more covered and head as well. It washes well. Would definitely buy again if I need another one. Shipping was decently fast as well thank you.
