Will this work woth a kohler low flush purchased at home depot

It fits a standard commode. Low flush shouldn't make a difference. Very good product

Does it move from side to side or is it pretty stable?

It's pretty stable, but does move a little side to side. The big down fall is the way it attached to the toilet is weird. You can't pick it up to clean under it. So by the time you can take it off, it can be pretty grody under it. HUH! Good luck hope this helps.
