Freeze-Dried Raw Goat’s Milk Blends for Dogs & Cats

My dog loves this! I got the Greens milk. I put half of the milk in her homemade ice cream I make at home. She also liked it by itself too! Im going to order the fruit one next. This is a great product!

My senior dog has always had a sensitive stomach and been a very picky eater since being adopted 10 years ago. Raw goats milk has been a staple in our house for years. Getting to the goat farm can be difficult with the weather or the time to get out there. In the last few years, the small pet shops with high quality food have started to stock frozen goats milk. The price was higher and more convienent at times, but was frozen and would take a few days to thaw out in the fridge for use. When traveling for dog shows, it was not convienent to travel with raw goats milk and if we could find frozen raw goats milk in the city we were visiting, it took too long to thaw. I LOVE this freeze dried raw goat's milk option. As much as I love having the option, it would not be an option if my girl didn't like it. She does not like fruits or veggies unless they are chopped up very small and are added to something she loves. I added the water as instructed and shaked, shaked, shaked. I added this to her raw dinner and my first thought was - she is not going to touch this, she is going to take one sniff and walk away - this is a chunky veggie goat's milk. She has always been a grass eater, it helps to settle her tummy when needed (no vomiting, just helps to settle). She sniffed her dinner and gobbled it all up as usual. She really enjoyed the chunky goat's milk. I'm super happy of the double benefit - raw goats milk and finely chopped greens - all in one! We're on day 8 of feeding it with her meals, twice a day - and no issues at all. This gets 4 paws up!

So i bought this thinking it was 16oz of powder but its not its 1oz of power to make 16oz when adding water they need to change it otherwise its false advertising

I have a very picky dog but I found this goat milk and was hoping it would help my dog eat her food. I got one flavor and she loved it so I proceeded to get all the flavors to give her a variety. While she loves this brand, this flavor is probably my dogs least favorite. It’s not the companies fault my dog likes the vegetables the least so I can’t say anything against Shepherd Boy Farms. The texture is good, the flavors my dog does like are great, the combinations of ingredients are fun and keep my dogs interest. She’ll eat her food with this on top too, but she doesn’t prefer it. This is really easy to mix. Just add water and shake well before giving every time. It is meant to last 10 days but our fridge gets really cold so I think I kept it until 11 or even 12 days and it was fine.

This is a very fresh, well manufactured product in easy-to-use form factor. I don't know if the drying process (which may involve heat) affects the probiotic content, but it was well-digested by my pup, who slurped it up quite happily. Lots of good ingredients here. Very much worth the investment - quality and quantity wise. We didn't make a full batch (going to the little dog), but did shake it up to mix well before shaking out a small portion for a small serving. Went in well; came out just as well. No issues. We're pleased and it will be on the "purchase again" list. Seemed to settle things down for the pup and give him a little boost, too.

I like the ingredients. All the greens are organic. Note that the refrigerator shelf life is approximately 10 days once you have mixed the ingredients with water. I put a bit on kibble as a topper to create variety with meals. Being a liquid, it is different from other toppers I use. The dogs eat as eagerly as they always do when I use it, so I know they don't dislike it. I cannot say they love it. They don't dislike it. I know that unprocessed milk products might have harmful bacteria, so I am watching my dogs carefully for any issues. So far, none have been presented. I am always looking for variety for my pups as well as very healthy alternatives, so I am glad I tried this.

My fault for not truly reading in to the product, BUT this is a one use little milk shake (if you will). Makes 16oz total, which according to the bottle; needs to be used in 10 days. For my lack of reading, I'd thought this was a more concentrated goat milk supplement that could be mixed when needed. There aren't any oz. indicators, so you'll have to measure out the proper serving sizes with what you already own. I would definitely recommend upgrading the packaging to include this for easier use. For the money, I think I'll go with a different product next time. I'd like my money to stretch a bit further than just one or two meals for the cost. There's no real benefits to a one/two time use product.
