This knife has quickly become a favourite in my kitchen. It’s really sharp, well-balanced, and feels comfortable to use with the sturdy triple rivet handle. The blade stays sharp for longer than other knives I’ve used, and it’s the perfect size for everyday prep. Great quality and value!

This is simply a fantastic paring knife, sharp, easy and comfortable to hold and use. Sharp? yes of course, comfortable to use and it simply feels like quality, which it most definitely. Its costs more, its my second Sebatier, excellent brand Recommended

Excellent knife, easy to hold. Very sharp

I'm a little disappointed to be honest. I did read some reviews before purchasing this knife and the comments lead me to believe that the blade would be serrated/angled on both sides. It is in fact only on one side which does mean it's harder to make a perfectly vertical slice (a bit like a cheese knife with one edge). For many that won't be an issue but for me, it's something that I could never understand the reasoning behind. All that said, I have kept it because it's a nice knife and compliments the others in the set which I'm slowly building up. It's also reasonably priced for a quality blade. It does cut soft fruit/tomatoes easily but then so does the other Sabatier knife that I bought along with this one, which isn't serrated. If you like to keep your knives sharp and you can do a good job of it then you could get by without this. However, if you want a handy go to knife which will always be there for that soft tomato, this is a good addition to your drawer. It's nice to hold, well constructed, looks very nice quality and a good handy size.

I bought this honing rod because I had recently moved in to my flat and wanted to look the part when cooking for guests. I am a keen cook but get frustrated with my knives. This works well - honing the edge of the blade and creating an easier 'cut' experience. Tomatoes are my go-to victim when testing a chefs knife. The rod is ergonomic, has a good weight to it, feels strong and well-built, and the safety stopper is effective. Being stainless steel, I do not expect any issues with the longevity - and fully expect to still have this in 30 years time!!

This is a great bread knife. Is has the weight of good quality and is very stylish and fits in great with my knife block.
