Do not buy this product if you think it’s gonna taste anything like sea urchin.
Do not buy this product. I read some bad reviews, and decided to try it out for myself. First off, there are no whole pieces of urchin, instead it is some soupy mess of bits. There is zero urchin flavor, this taste more like a can of cheap smoked oysters, but crushed up into little bits floating in a brine. All good though, I knew it was gonna be 50/50. Save your money.

Tastes great!!
Seafood is my favorite and uni is one of my most favorite. This is a good portion per can, although it’s not aesthetically pleasing it does the job. Topped on some rice and it’s perfect. It’s not as creamy as I’d have hoped but tastes just fine. I drained it and patted it dry.

Disappointed
Taste was good. But it was more like soup than anything else. Very little solids. Not what I was expecting.

Most horrible thing Ive ever seen
What is this?? The most disgusting thing I've ever took out of a can. Was just murky water with a couple VERY small little chunks. Someone is actually selling this to eat for humans??!

It’s not bad
Just arrived today 12/19/25 and best before date is 11/10/25 so that’s disappointing ig but the can says 28? And this is what the contents look like after draining most of the excess liquid. I’ve never had sea urchin before. But this tastes like sweet-ish oysters with a very soft texture. It’s pretty good but I have no baseline of what fresh urchin tastes like. the pieces are really small, if they were bigger I’d imagine they’d be great on sushi.

Trust in the selling company
As you open the can you can see the contents are small broken pieces of ssea urchin pieces all broken into small pieces and crumbs the majority of them submerge in a cloudy liquid. All tasteless. The flavor of sea urchin is unrecognizable.Amazon should not be selling this product.I don’t intent to reorder at all. It was disappointing.

Not worth the price
The one can I got was not worth the price. There was maybe 3 very small pieces in it with little to no flavor. I would not even recommend trying this.
