Spigen Liquid Air Designed for Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus Case (2018) - Matte Black

Fits just right. It has a smooth feeling and a mild grip texture to it. Drop the phone enough times to say the corners defintely hold up. Its fine by me.

I wish they made this model in different colors.

This is my 4th attempt at a case for my S9 Plus. This Spigen case is the best of that bunch, and I'll most likely be sticking with it.The phone is waterproof and meets MIL-810 Drop, so really the purpose of a case is to give some protection to the display and rear camera windows, and provide a much better grip since the phone itself is so slippery. I also prefer to accomplish that with as minimal size impact as possible.This case is an outstanding fit and is easy to install the phone in. The best fit of any case I've tried. The material is flexible like a harder rubber but firm and durable like a good plastic. It's also the best looking (IMO) of those I've bought or checked out. It provides a decent top/bottom lip to protect the display, and does not impact use of the curved edges (no impact on pulling out the Edge Panel, for example). Rear camera, etc. protection is very good, with an angled surface below the fingerprint sensor to make it's use simple. Size increase overall is quite minimal, and exceeds many of the options out there. It was smaller than 2 of the 3 other "slim" cases I bought. So essentialy, in my opinion, they nailed it so far.My only area for improvement would be that I wish the sides of the case were also textured to improve grip. For most people, when you hold your phone, your hand barely touches the rear surface. The sides on this case are smooth. The material is soft enough that I would not say it is slippery, and as I said, I will likely be staying with this case. But there is a little room for improvement here, and doing so would have made it perfect.

Previously had my s9+ with an otterbox commuter series since the s9+ release date. However, the otterbox began to deteriorate on the rubber parts around the end of 2020 so I decided to go with something less bulky while maintaining good protection.The texture of the spigen looks good and feels good. The most notable difference from the two cases would be the size and feel. At first the spigen made it feel like if I wasn't holding my phone because of how small and lightweight it felt. This means less bulk in your pockets too!! The cut-out is good and the side buttons feel much better than the otterbox ones (fyi these buttons were the ones that were deteriorating from my otterbox case along with the charging port rubber part).For those who are like myself when it comes to actually putting a screen protector on your devices... You are able to use a FULL SCREEN glass screen protector which is always a must for me. I currently use the OTAO 3d curved dot matrix tempered glass screen protector and there is almost no gap between this case and the edge of the screen protector.So far this case has exceeded my expectations since otterbox has always been my go-to case.

This is a perfect type of case. Light. Protective. Perfect fit.Most importantly, the grip is good for the sides and back--something those smooth plastic cases don't have (have you ever had such a case where an accidental light flick of the hand sends the phone sliding off a table).Also note that the Heart Rate laser scanner works properly with your finger as there's NO blockage due to a wall of plastic separating the HR sensor from the fingerprint sensor. There have been TOO MANY CASES made for the S9+ where they make the HR opening TOO SMALL, thereby making an impossible use of the HR sensor, no matter what finger you use or how much meat you can fill that gap. It just won't work! (surprising that case makers don't read the phone's specs as this could be easily resolved...at least Spigen read the S9 manual!).Also note that the case's sides are recessed enough to put on a screen saver like the highly rated Skinomi I used and enough clearance to easily use the side swipe widget the phone comes with. The Bixby button is also textured so you can blindly distinguish it from the smooth volume buttons--uselful, more than you'd think!There's also enough LIP to put the phone down on its face without the glass touching.Oh yeah, the case is good looking too!

S9+ is a huge phone, so finding a thin case that offered good drop protection was important to me and this case is great. I used the same case on my s8 so I knew what to expect, and even trying 5+ cases for my s8 and s9+ this is really the best one.Pros:Thin minimalistVery affordable priceGood grip in hand especially compared to othersWon't scratch or look dirty unlike others due to being simple black rubberSimple material, all one piece for easy on/off yet stays secure in place (I back pocket carry my phones and never had this even partially come off)Holds thin metal plate under the back of case very well and doesn't let it move around (for magnetic car mount)Dropped from waist high a few times without issueFront edge lip to keep of surfacesVery light weightCons/flaw - the case's opening for my headphones is a bit too narrow. The surrounding sides of the case stick out too far for the plug to seat properly, this was an easy fix by using a razor blade to trim the sides and now the plug seats perfect. Just keep this in mind if you have a similar issue.Only other thing is that I wish they offered this in other colors but I suspect adding color would compromise the durability and grip of the case.

Gostei porque o material de boa qualidade te dá uma pegada adequada. Difícil o celular escorregar da mão. Ponto contra seria a cobertura dos botões que devido o material ser consistente você tem que apertar com firmeza para as funcionalidades dos botões. Algumas mulheres terão que fazer uma força adicional para os botões. Mas é questão de costume.

I always love spigen, but for s9+,it covered really well.but the pain is you probably can't put any tempered glass any more on most spigen case for galaxy s9 or s9+. Due the well covered coners will eating the edge of your screen protector. It won't fit for ever. Unless you change your case. The best thing you can do is buying a ptu protector, like wet installation. But the cons is it is not reflection like a mirror like tempered glass. And you scratch the screen, it will leave the marks, even it said self-healing. it does but still marks. Overall, nice case, but before you choose which type of screen protector for your s9 or s9+, think about it, it will not fit tempered glass screen protector, even it is said case friendly. Remember, it's not working as well. I try couple of them, none works.
