I have been making videos for years and I have gone through different cameras, but now that iPhones cameras are so good, they are my go to for my videos. When I found this product so I could use my away facing camera and still see what it is showing really changed things for me for the better. Setup was fairly easy. A few notes: The password for the wifi is on the screen when you start it (I saw some reviews where people could not find the password). When trying to connect to it, turn your wifi off and back on to make the product name appear on your phone to you can connect to it. The magnet on the phone holder that holds the screen is quite powerful. The camera holder is very high quality and well made and very sturdy. I thought it could not do vertical videos and I was looking for another holder when I realized there is a slot in the ball/holder that lets you do a vertical video (A picture of this is in this review). In short, I love this product and find it works very well but takes a little bit of practice to get it setup and connected quickly.

While the concept of using the rear camera for selfies and vlogs is innovative, my experience with the product has been far from smooth, especially due to a severe delay when connected via wire. It's compatible with iPhones, which worked well in terms of ease of connection and flexibility for my device. However, the main problem I encountered was the significant lag when the device was connected via wire. Upon connecting my phone to the monitor, the screen displayed a severe delay in real-time actions. Whether I was adjusting my frame, switching between apps, or even moving my phone, there was a noticeable and frustrating lag. This delay made it extremely difficult to keep up with the recording process, as I could no longer rely on real-time feedback to see myself or interact with viewers. The lag was particularly concerning when trying to do fast-paced content such as TikTok videos, where precise timing and fluid motion are essential. The wire connection, which is usually meant to provide more stability than wireless setups, somehow exacerbated the issue. The delay was long enough to disrupt the flow of my content and make it nearly impossible to maintain a natural pace. While the monitor itself does provide a clear display once the lag subsides, the severe delay undermines its utility for live streaming or vlogging.

I am in love with this monitor!!!! I am a newly Content Creator and I film on my iPhone 11. I have always used the front facing camera. An although the front facing camera is decent ( MY OPINION) . I honestly always wanted to use my rear camera. I was tired of getting up out of place or using a mirror to see if I was in frame. With this monitor! Man! Listen! Your later self, if you are into content creating, will thank you. The picture quality is exact! You can use an external mic (I read in one of the reviews that you can't. But you most absolutely can. I have tested it!) and your footage is perfect for phone quality. You cannot use 4k. You have to use the highest quality in HD. 4k is NOT compatible. TRUST ME!!!!! You will LOVE this buy. I promise you. Please Newmowa come out with 4k, an option to use with/connect home Wi-Fi, longer battery life (2 hours is not enough for me), touchscreen, recording viewfinder in your next monitor. If we can get that. I WILL NEVER BUY A CAMERA😁😁😁😁

The concept of this device is great. However, the very long delay when taking videos makes this device unusable for videos. The delay starts with about a 15 second delay and then as you’re filming the delay increases; the delay gets longer than 30 seconds. It’s impossible to use this if you want to see what you’re filming in real time. I’d give this device a 5 Star if the sole purpose is for photos. There is no delay when watching the screen mirror in real time to take photos. This is the only reason I am keeping the device. You can see the screen in real time as you are preparing to take a photo. I do love that you can choose to keep the device magnetically attached to your phone or you can remove it. If I’m taking a photo farther away I can just hold it and have a closer view. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max. It was very easy to connect the device and also very easy to attach to my phone. It has a very strong magnet and holds the screen mirror securely on my phone. I like that the screen mirror is easy to move up and down; with some tripods you need to move the screen mirror high up on the phone. I give this device a 5 star for photo purposes and I give it a 0 star for video purposes.

I found the product satisfactory. While it exhibits a slight delay, it is acceptable. The connection process is straightforward, and the dimensions are appropriate.

Hey dolls, I’ve been trying out new equipment as I get ready to bring back Coffee Break Live with Dr La Tina and I found this really cool vlog screen. Everyone knows the back camera for iPhones is definitely better than the front. Problem is it’s hard to set up a shot and stay in frame if you are using the back camera because you can’t see yourself. Well! Problem solved! Great value and the screen quality is excellent. BTW: It’s wireless but also can be plugged into the phone if you are not somewhere that has WiFi. It does need an adaptor if your phone is a lightening charge because the cords are usb-c. I haven’t livestream with it yet so not sure about that.

At first, the Newmowa Phone Vlog Selfie Monitor worked great during the first week. The screen displayed correctly, and the setup was smooth. However, after a while, the screen suddenly stretched widely, and no matter what I tried—restarting the device, restarting my phone, or even disconnecting and reconnecting—the issue persisted. Unfortunately, it now seems stuck in this stretched visual mode. Another thing to note is that it takes a few steps to set up each time you use it, which can be a bit inconvenient when you’re in a hurry. Additionally, there are occasional delays, possibly due to Bluetooth connectivity issues. These delays don’t happen all the time but are frequent enough to be frustrating, especially when trying to film consistently. It would be helpful if the device had a dedicated restart button or a way to reset it to default settings. Right now, I’m left with a stretched screen that I can’t fix, which significantly reduces its usability. I hope the manufacturer can address these issues or offer guidance on how to resolve them.

Sí funciona bien PERO - solo funciona por AirDrop (para iPhones) entonces tiene que haber wifi (o sea no lo puedes usar en la calle, un parque, en el carro… al menos que haya wifi en esos lugares) porque la manera para hacer AirDrop es que tanto la pantallita como el iPhone tienen que estar conectados al mismo wifi para poder espejear la imagen - eso es lo que hace: espejear la pantalla del iPhone y ya - no tiene sonido entonces si quieres grabar un tiktok, no vas a poder escuchar el audio porque AirDrop piensa que se está reproduciendo el audio en la pantallita y la pantallita no tiene audio. - muchos comentarios dicen que tiene un retraso en la imagen pero eso depende de la rapidez del wifi. El wifi de mi casa es bueno entonces no hay lag para mi. - la pantalla no se ve full screen, por alguna razón se ve como en medio de la pantalla. En conclusión, está bien la pantallita pero no vale lo que cuesta. Me compraría mejor una de Ali Express por la mitad y haría lo mismo pero se me pasó el tiempo de devolución.

Me han facilitado mucho la grabación, sobre todo porque ahora puedo usar la cámara trasera del celular, y así mis videos salen con mejor calidad. El sonido en general es bueno, aunque a veces noto un ligero retraso de unos segundos en los videos. La batería sí podría mejorar, ya que se descarga rápido y hay que cargarlos seguido. Aun así, por el precio y lo prácticos que son, valen bastante la pena.
