I do like these plugs, HOWEVER pay close attention to the correct polarity as they can be installed both ways. As an electrician I know the neutral side of the wire will be identified on any newer device. It may be hard to see. Sometimes a faint white line down the neutral side but more often there is a rib in the outer plastic. One side is smooth with a raised rib or runner identifying the other side as neutral. If you are replacing a light bulb it is much safer to have the tab at the bottom of the socket to be the hot not the outer metal shell. The switch should always switch the hot not the neutral. On the male plug, the larger metal tab is the neutral. Think of it as the wider slot on the receptacle is the easier side for a child to stick a paperclip in so it is the safer side. The small, harder slot is the hot.
