this item works amazingly! I feel like I made the right choice purchasing this fabric shaver. I like the convenience of the long lasting battery (device comes with a cord to recharge, so no batteries needed). The blade seems like it will last for a while, based on how well it easily removes pills from clothing. But it does come with two easily changeable replacement blades. It's easy to hold and nice to look at. Should last years, even with regular use.

Gotta say I'm loving this thing! I remember my mom having one of the "old school" shavers like this when I was a kid; it ran on batteries and did a semi-OK enough job... this one is insanely better! I love how well it works, I've used it on pants, a jacket, some pillows, cushions, the sofa, all around the house if the notion hits me that I see some items with some fuzzy bits stuck on them that need to be shaved down a tiny bit and BOOM they look like they're brand new again. I can't help but love the fact that it is rechargeable and uses a USB-c type cord that's included; super convenient since so many other items around my house run on usb-c chargers as well, so I don't have a special sized cable to keep up with that only serves one device... The battery lasts a very long time as well, I have only charged it once since I got it, the day I opened it I plugged it in for a few hours just to give it that 100% charge, and I haven't had to plug it back up yet. I appreciate the amount of power it has to get the job done, and that it also has three different power settings so that you can go gentle if needed, or really turn it up and do some serious lint removal, and yes, it is pretty powerful... a lot more than I thought it was going to be from what I remembered about those old school ones that ran on AA-sized batteries years ago... It also comes with extra blades in case they'll eventually be needed, and on top of all of that, it was very affordably priced compared to some I looked at that were $20, some even over $30... I only paid $9.99 for mine at the time of purchase. If I get a a year or more of use out of this item, it'll be easily money well spent for that price. I have a shirt that I truly love and was about to donate it. It wasn't stained or ruined from wear and tear, or even that old. The brand is cable&gauge STUDIO that I prob purchased at TJ Maxx. It's made of 95% polyester and 5% spandex. I wore it maybe 2-3 times and it had horrible piling on it that made it look old and dirty even fresh out of the washer and dryer. I figured I could use a fabric shaver and spruce up all my sweaters and shirts that had piling on them. Boy did this shaver work! Right away I could tell it was doing a great job. I didn't even have to put it on it's highest setting either. It was on the lowest setting and worked perfectly! For such a cheap price, this will help me to reduce waste and fix my favorite clothing items I don't want to discard or donate, making it easier to save money and not keep buying more clothes! It also came with 2 extra blades. I like that it's digital, easy to use and hold in one hand, and is small enough to put in a travel bag (not airline bag, just car travelling). I don't know if it's ok to fly with, but I've never left the country for more than a few weeks and don't think I'd need to take it with me any way. For this price, if it breaks, I'd just buy another if it's passed the return window. This is a game changer! And it's electric, rechargeable, and really easy to use. I highly recommend this fabric shaver for the gentleness, effectiveness, affordability, and money saving aspect. It does have three settings, so you can use it on a heavy wool or sweater safely. I already love it!

I had high hopes for this fabric shaver and was not disappointed. It works great, and has restored several of my sweaters and knitted shrugs. Once charged, it is easy to use and easy to store away. The razor held its charge while I cleaned up several sweaters. There were two issues with it that I was concerned about, which is why I gave it a 4 star rating instead of 5. First, it was not easy to get the front receptacle off so that I could empty it. We did everything the instructions said, but it was so tight that I couldn't get it off. The second, more serious challenge was replacing the blades. The shaver head unscrews, but once you take the face plate off, the razor blades are completely exposed. If you have children in your home, do not let them unscrew the razor head. As a razor, it's terrific. As a safety item in your home, store it out of reach of children.

Priced right. Works great. It’s just the size needed for minor scraping and lint removal. Battery life was at 87% when the package arrived, but I charged it to 100% and used it. After using it for about 20 minutes straight, the charge dropped to 90%. So It may need frequent charging between heavy usages. It’s easy to use. You press the button multiple times to turn it on, increase the strength and then turn it off. You press down and slide off the front cup to empty the lint compartment. It’s simple and minimalistic and a MUST-HAVE for light furniture upholstery maintenance. I’ve only used it on my sectional couch to clean up the fabric surface of my cushions. It chops up stray fibers and fuzz for a smooth finish. I’m pleased with this product and purchase. I highly recommend!

This is the best sweater shaver! I can't believe I've gone this long without having one. I use it for my sweatshirts who always get pills stuck to them and it shaves them right off they're just like new. The battery has lasted a really long time. I did a lot of research and I finally settled on this one and I love it

This lint remover is worthy of a 5 star rating. It has given me a cupboard full of wearable jumpers. It takes time to get the perfect result but well worth the effort.
