Bought these to counter the condensation I get in the morning on the inside of the windscreen of my VW Transporter when it’s cold outside. I leave them on the dashboard and so far no condensation. Haven’t needed to recharge them yet so quite pleased.

Easy to dry out in the microwave and have removed the damp from the car.

They are doing a great job in my wife’s car. So much so that I bought some for my own car.However, they take ages to dry. They are so thick that the moisture doesn’t escape and just gets trapped inside the bag.Would be more effective/efficient in a bigger bag or a flat pillow rather than a tightly packed tube.Still work great though.

Does what it says. These are smaller than others I have had before and come with a handy non-slip pad to hold it in place. I have one in the dashboard and one in the boot of my car and they are doing the job. A few minutes in the microwave when pink and time to go again.

We have a problem with moisture in our old convertible, it is not used enough and kept outside. The seals are tired after 15 yers of opening and closing the metal roof and the inside is always full of water on the windows and if not cleaned regularly get cold on the seatbelts and the rear seat. I put two of these pads in the car, one each near the rear window and windscreen during recent cold and wet weather - and 2 days later the car windows were clear. I admit I was surprised how well it worked.Once the indicator went pink I wrapped them in newspaper and microwaved them and they dried out. Put them back in the car and they kept it dry until indicators went pink again. Second time in the microwave the indicators have not really turned blue again. I left them in a warm dry place for 2 days and they were really dry but still not showing blue.They are back in the car and seem to still work but indicators can no longer be used to tell when they need drying again and I suspect they are not as effective as when new. Will hope they get through this winter and maybe buy a new set for next winter as they do make a significant difference.

When I ordered this item my expectations were not that high, but using it in my old condensation riddled car in freezing cold temperatures it leaves the windscreen pretty much clear in the mornings, I did find the recommendation of drying the bag for five minutes in the microwave a bit too optimistic (I dry it for 8 minutes in a 800 watt microwave and it still could do with a few minutes more), nevertheless it is still a practical and efficient way of minimising condensation in a car.
