These DURATECH Drill Bit Set, 21PCS Titanium Impact Twist Drill Bit Set with Tough Case work as expected. The case is indeed tough and puts up with a bit of abuse. The drill bits... are drill bits. If you are trying to drill through stainless steel be prepared to dull them quickly, as happens with most bits. No complaints!

I was in need of a new set of drill bits as over the years, my sets have gone missing or have been broken. I don't need them often but I hate having to scour the garage for my bits. These come in a nice, durable case and each bit is labeled - removing a few small steps for a project goes a long way. Each bit looks like it is of good quality and they do the job on either my hand drill or my table borer for smaller projects. I got to put them through a good stress test when I wanted to build a simple step table for some potted plants in our yard and it had no problems with sheet metal or 2x4 wood. There was no wobbling and no issues with switching the bits in and out of the drills.

I use my drills a lot for both wood and metal. The sharpness of said drills is vital when cutting through thick pieces of stainless steel or other hard metals. The packaging is of good quality. I like the case - very similar to a DeWalt case and they stack (again like DeWalt). I can’t tell if the drills are titanium coated or titanium but they do appear to at least have the correct coating. A few of the drills have hefty burrs on them - 1/2” being the worst. It’s almost made the drill seem somewhat dull and hindering its cutting ability. The few test holes I drilled went fine so far. They’re by no means high end but for a quick dirty drill solution, they’re not bad. However, unless they come deburred, I can’t even begin to recommend these for the cost. They’re clearly on the right track with packaging and marketing material. Improve the product a bit more and I think it’ll be worth while.

These DURATECH drill bits are good for general purpose work around the house and shop. They come in a well made case that securely hold the bits while allowing for easy identification and access. The bits themselves appear to be of good quality. I chucked a random selectin of them into my drill press and was pleased that there was minimal wobble in all the bits I tested.So far, I have used a small selection of the bits in both hardwood and softwood applications and found that they all cut quickly and cleanly. Time will tell how long they will last, but I am optimistic about these bits and expect that the will be in my tool bag for the foreseeable future. At $26.99 for a 21 piece set, this set is a very good value and I do recommend them.

I got a driver/bit set a few years ago and I have broken almost all of the drill bits in projects that normally would not. I ordered these because of my dwindling supply. So far, so good. They've tackled those same projects and more demanding ones and I haven't broken one yet!
