Although a little more expensive than many other offerings, I am so happy I bought this one. The width of the head covers a large area which is great, although the bristles are a little stiffer than I expected I have adjusted the pressure I use and find the results wonderful! I haven't purchased any of the attachments yet but will. The quality is very good... actually better than I expected. It is long enough to reach all areas of the back, (I'm 6'3"). It is made of a heavy duty material, with a solid, stable hinge, an ergonomic handle that is rubber coated and comfortable to hold and the best part "I can cure the itch", anytime I need to quickly and easily and there are not many better feelings than scratching that hard to reach and maddening itch!

I bought this back scratcher after reading many reviews. The one question I had was, "Is it effective at scratching my back or is it one of those aggravating tools that scratches one square inch of my back at a time leaving me with that feeling that the more places I scratched, the more places needing scratching appeared?" You know, like those wimpy back scratchers that are 1/2 inch wide and have to be at the perfect angle to do the job. Well, not a single review answered that question. I'm here to tell you that if you want that perfect back scratcher that instantly relieves that excruciating desire to quickly and effectively get your back scratched, this is the one you want. It will scratch your back as hard, or as lightly, as you want. You have total control. Full disclosure: I've bought countless back scratchers. None satisfied the urge to scratch my back. I opened this immediately after arrival, took my shirt off, and went to work. It took all of 30 seconds to achieve the desired level of comfort. My response was, "YES, YES, FINALLY, YES. My review boils down to this: If you want a back scratcher that leaves you want more relief, this isn't the one you want. However, if you want a manly back scratcher that accomplishes the task in record time with total satisfaction, this is the perfect one. Look no further. You will be satisfied. Again, I don't care how many colors in comes in. Nor, do I care that it has 53 attachments. My only concern is that is stops my back from itching almost immediately. If that's you goal as well, you won't be disappointed! This review comes from an engineer who wants people to know what works and what doesn't. I was not paid to write this nor was I give this item for free. I purchased it just like many of you will.

I wanted a back scratcher that wouldn't twist the way the telescoping ones tend to do. This fits the bill nicely. The scratching isn't quite as nice as some others, but it is comfortable and will not leave scratch marks like some of the sharper ones might. I have not used any of the attachments, so I can't speak to that. It does have a nice grip and feels good and solid in your hand.

the better half kept using my hair brush as a back scratcher! and I think that is sick! so I bought this for a Christmas present, we are super happy with it! it folds in half, works great fully opened, and does what it says! I would highly recommend this if you are a looking for a back scratcher and are tired of your better half using your brush!

Best back scratcher I have ever owned. Bristles are gentle but firm. Doesn’t leave scratches on the skin. Long enough to reach entire back.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered this back scratcher because I thought it would be too flimsy. But it is AMAZING!!! It doesn’t cause scratches on my back like other wooden backscratchers always did! And I don’t have to ask my husband to “scratch my back please” anymore. Since I was diagnosed with diabetes my skin is very dry and especially on my back. I’m LOVING the satisfaction and relief of this backscratcher!! 100% RELIEF!!! I have been looking for something like this for years. Then after my shoulder surgery, I wasn’t able to get to the hard-to-reach areas of my back and between my shoulder blades anymore until NOW! I can’t say enough good things about this thing!! It’s easy to clean and it’s a great price! The length is perfect and it can be folded for easy packing if you go on a trip. The handle is sturdy and doesn’t bend like all the other back scratchers I’ve wasted money on. You owe it to yourself to buy this one!

Provides basic functionality and that's it. No bells and whistles. Bare minimum of what was promised. Would consider buying again.
