This 5 pack of paint brushes defintely feel much better than the cheap brushes you can get and I've become more selective over time with the quality of my paint brushes as I've often found that the cheap, 'pound shop' type brushes whilst doing the job, often give you poorer results. I've come to appreciate that the extra cost for better brushes gives you better control and better finishes.However I was a tad disappointed to find that on opening mine that a few of the brushes had stray bristles sticking out at the sides which I had to snip off.I often test the quality of a new brush by pulling on the bristles to see if any come out (as this will inevitably find it's way onto your painted surfaces as well) and can confirm that despite the sticky out bristles that the bristles on these stayed put and feel like none will come out during use.The bristle lengths are also good and a tad longer which makes loading paint onto the brush without getting paint on the metal bristle clamp or handle more cleanly.The bristles feel lovely and soft and the pointed tips make it perfect for more precise painting without having to mask tape edges.The price is very reasonable in my opinion at just under £12 at time of review for what are better quality brushes that are made from good quality materials, plus I love the wooden handle brush rather than cheap plasticky ones.These brushes can literally be used for most paints and provided they're cleaned properly after use they should provide you with years of use that shouldn't release the odd bristle here and there when you're painting. I'd say these are more ideally suited to woodwork such as frames and skirting boards and the like but can also be ideal for emulsion on walls where the ceiling and wall meet where you need a finer more precise brush to get your lines perfect (or near perfect).I'd certainly consider this brand again for brushes as I think they're good value for the quantity.

These are great brushes, they do not shed bristles, and are very good for cutting in windows

It feels good in your hand, bristles hold loads of paint and good point. Cleans easily. I also used it with mould remover and twisted it into the corners of my double glazing.
