This is a surprisingly handy tool. It cuts through cardboard ok, but I usually use it to cut the tape which it does really easily, and the rounded end means I'm not likely to damage the contents. Much safer than a pair of scissors.

Very handy item. I've used it as a letter opener. Cardboard cutter as it's intended and even on celotex insulation. This is a quality product in my personal opinion and would recommend it to anyone.

I LOVE tools and for the price this is a gem. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5* is because the noise (sensation) of cutting cardboard with this implement goes through me, similar to hearing a blackboard being scraped. I wouldn’t say it cuts through cardboard like butter, but you don’t get the same fatigue when dissecting large amounts when your utility knife goes blunt.

Great tool for cutting up cardboard whether it’s for crafting or just making bits of box smaller for the bin. Acts more like a saw than a box cutter but watch your fingers nonetheless.

I love this! Previously used either a pen knife or Stanley knife for opening packages. But with toddlers, didnt quite feel safe. This is more like a file. Or a dual sided butter knife. There is a trick to slicing cardboard. Let the knife do the work, let the serrations do their work. When you get it, goes through like butter.

My initial impression of the knife was does this thing honestly work? It is so much better than a box cutter at cutting cardboard and makes much lighter work of it.

I'm a librarian and I have to cut a lot of cardboard to make things for children's programming. This tool has been a great help and is much better than the knife I previously used for doing detailed work/curves/tight corners. If you're crafting with cardboard, this tool might be a great help!

むちゃくちゃ気持ちいい

We live in the country and need to get a lot of items shipped to us... Needles to say we end up breaking down a lot of cardboard. Where has this tool been all my life?! It's wonderful. Very easy to slice through cardboard sides to make them into more manageable pieces. I have not used on really thick cardboard yet, but I imagine it could still be used, just slower. Highly recommend.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I break down a lot of cardboard boxes for recycling. This knife saves my better blades. Good value, good product.

Saws/cuts through cardboard plastic wrap and tape really easy. Bought this one and the retractable one, I prefer the fixed blade because the other one will move from side to side if not full extended. My only gripe is that the case for this one comes off way to easily, would be nice if it had a belt clip or lock for the case. Safer than a box cutter and reduces the chance of cutting the product that is being opened or the user. But beware that it is still a serated blade and can still cut skin, just found that out recently and it cuts skin quite easily.
