first, they last for about 4-6 hours. the charge with usb, and the connection to the drone is by physically tying them with a rubber band or something like that. i can see them more than half a mile at night, and they have different options for color flashing.i usually set them to meet spec for air craft

Horrible waste of money and time. 2 will not charge out of the 4. Then I tried unplugging the charger cable out of the light and the light fell apart. Poorly made and deff not water proof. When it fell apart there was no type of gasket or anything the would prevent even a drop of water getting to the electricals and cause damage. Buy something else

I had to work on two of them to make them work.

This are helpful in assisting in keeping eye contact with drone or its orientation by using different colors on different sides, but keep in mind these are not bright enough to make night flying legal. You can definitely use these at night, but many countries require at least one strobe to be visual for 3 miles. Those can also be found on Amazon.

The lights work perfectly for what I need them for. I just wish the strobe setting was constant flow and a little faster.
