Great Midweight Pullover for Fit and Price
Clothing shopping online can be so hit or miss, as different makers seem to size so drastically different. (Where are the size charts?)This Amazon Basic quarter zip 'sweatshirt' is a nice looking style and is a quality sewn pullover for wearing over a dress shirt for casual work situations if one is needing a bit of warmth but without too thick of layers.Yes it is fleece on the inside, but is more of a nice light- midweight fabric. ( Nothing like a Carhartt -type of fleece in thickness or the traditional college 'sweatshirt' heavy fabric)The outside of the fleece is more dressy and smooth than a 'sweatshirt' is... casual work setting appropriate.The size ( was a guess) was spot on in fit. (Laying the size XL garment flat, 25" across the front from under the arm seam to opposite side... it tapers down to about 23.5" at the bottom band...25.75" from top of arm to sleeve bottom.) Not too bulky, and not form-fitting like a knit fabric would be, either.The fit is for a 'normal' guy's body (Not the fitted/ athletic /slim kind of 'second skin' that shows every extra helping of food one has eaten) ... hubby is over 60, about 190 pounds and it fits him great.Washes up and dries wonderfully so far, staying true to size. (Wash turned inside out to protect the 1/4 zipper)I would recommend and would purchase again if more colors were available in the size needed.

If you’re normal… it’s fantastic
Soooo many negative reviews about too short or too long here and there… here’s the truth.I’m 5’11” 210 pounds. Yeah okay so that’s my size. I have normal shoulder width, normal chest circumference, normal arm length, normal torso. The sweater fits me great.If you’re someone who is the same weight and height but have ridiculously wide shoulders and by now know it, this isn’t for you. If you have a beer gut, this isn’t for you. If your arms are weirdly short or long, order to size. If your waist is low and your torso is big, it’s not for you. it’s for a normal build person.This sweater is excellent.

Short
I really like the sweater on my husband. I personally think it looks good on him however he’s gained a few pounds and thinks that the sweater looks a little too short. He prefers a sweater. I think the size length is perfect. And the quality of these sweaters are great for the price. They have a nice amount of colors and I purchased like 10 of them. They are true to size and just a good sweater to have.

Inexpensive, looks grewat, easy care.
I now own this in 4 different colors. With a t-shirt underneath it is warm enough for a chilly morning, but not hot like a heavy sweatshirt. Very comfortable to wear. Easy wash and dry, no special instructions. Looks much snappier than a polo shirt or hoodie. I'm very happy. And my wife doesn't seem to mind that I wear one most of the time.

I USE THESE FOR WORK
Macys? Kohl? Pish posh, they dont know i be at work with the amazon essentials fitted. Great price and gets the job done.Go head amazon, give all these other retailers hell.Keep the prices affordable and the quality to a certain standard and ill keep repping amazon essentials forever. Already have like 3 of these.Why pay $50 extra for something with a different label? I see all these corp dudes with fancy clothing. Like lol At the end of the day we still coming to work at the same place! Save that money for other necessities. I WILL be buying more of these.

Sizing is off
It’s a nice jacket, I’m 6’1 275 lbs and usually everything else 2XL fits this was tight around the chest. Also I usually like having pockets in my sweaters so I didn’t see it didn’t have any so I returned it in case you wanted pockets avoid this. Was super warm and comfy though

Nice casual or layering piece for men
This long sleeve quarter zip was better than I expected. I bought 2 of these for my husband for Christmas and I really like him in this with just a white T underneath for a more casual look that's a little nicer than his typical hoodie, but he's also worn it over his dress clothes for work during these colder months and it looks great with his dress shirt and tie underneath as well. They are soft and seem to be good quality and they can be dressed up or down so very versatile and a good cost effective way to spice up your wardrobe!

Great for cheap
Surprisingly good quality for price. Ordered on a whim because I desperately needed something ASAP. Had same day delivery.No loose threads, scratchy tags, or easily wrinkling fabric. Color stays true and doesn't wash out easily. Inside is soft. Lightweight but not flimsy, and not too stiff of a fabric. Great for early spring and fall.

Comfort and Appearance
I am very pleased with this item, in fact, I have two. I have just bought them so I have no idea how they will stand up to washing. They appear well made and the material is very good but it is not what I would call fleece. The outside of the garment is smooth. It is very neat looking and the medium size fits perfectly. It has a welt which helps with the fit. The price is competitive. It is a warm and soft material without being bulky. A good buy!
