Good price, great product
Needed a USB hub for my MacBook, and this is perfect for my office setup at home - and just slips into my bag when I’m working away from home. Just plug and play, and never had any issues with it. Great for the price, looks good - recommended

Excellent versatile adapter!
Bought this for my new macbook as it only has USB-C - works fast, even with all ports in use, is versatile, sleek looking and overall really good! Quite impressed with device response speed and performance so definitely recommended by me.

High quality adapter works well with Macbook Pro, Windows PC, iPhone and Android phones
This is a small but powerful adapter which provides USB Type-C to USB Type-C, HDMI or USB 3.0 conversion.I have tested with my Macbook Pro M1 Max (MacOS), Asus ROG Zepyhrus (Windows 11), iPhone 15 Pro (iOS 17) and Samsung S23 (Android 13) and it worked with all of them successfully, with one exception detailed above. The only issue I faced was, when connected to my Asus ROG Windows PC, the HDMI conversion did not work (using the same cable I normally use and connecting to an LG monitor) As my laptop already has an HDMI output, I did not care about that, and this issue migh be specific to my case so I cannot say the HDMI conversion does not work (as it works fine with others) Other ports work fine on all products tested. It is a small and lightweight converter/adapter with 17 grams weight, 6.7 cms length and 2.3 cms width. I liked it and will use it whenever I need. However looking at the current price tag (which is £13.28) I can say it is a bit overpriced. Please note this is a Vine review for the item sent for free to review. Please do your own judgement on the price but to me anything around or less than £8-10 would be fair for this product.

Works as intended
My work laptop only has usb-c ports so this is a godsend as when working at home I can hook it up to a monitor and still have 2 ports for a keyboard and mouse. It functions exactly as intended. It fits securely into the usb port with no wiggle. Of course if you had more than one port side by side it may cover up the other port but that's not the case for me. I haven't tried it on any other device and in my use case there is no issue with it falling out or with the weight of cables connected to it. There are loads of these type of devices out there but if you are looking for one that works, why not start here.

Good, but not great
I have the M2 MacBook Air, and it does the job in using a second monitor through HDMI. However, the audio does not work through the HDMI, it comes out all buggy. Plus, due to one connection, it droops down as I have a laptop stand.

Excellent
I love this gadget! Many laptops only come with USB C ports these days and so you often need a hub to attach other things (e.g. HDMI connection, USB3.0 devices etc). I have been using a hub that is attached to a small cable and it's great, it can take up a bit of space - this is fine when I'm at a desk but when travelling it isn't ideal. This little hub is super, it fits directly into your USB C port and there are no additional wires or cables. You can then use it with HDMI, USB3.0, and USB C (for charging) so you don't lose the functionality of that port. It's a great size so its easy to pop in your bag or pocket. It doesn't have as many ports as other hubs but that isn't waht this hub is designed for. It works well with my laptop and I haven't had any issues connecting the devices that I want to use.

Solid Little Hub.
This USB C hub is a solid build and seems to be a hard wearing peice of kit as it is made with an alluminum finish. It's small size is perfect for anyone who wants to take it on the go as well.I use it mainly for connecting it to my HP Elite, 2 in one tablet/laptop so I can have it as a second screen for my main pc. All the ports work as they should while providing enough power for charging. Using it with an android seems to be working well with no known issues so far for all the ports.Like others have said, the only thing that botheres me is depending on how you plan to use this, you should bare in mind that the device is only supported by the little usb c connector so be careful of what you hang on the device. So far I've not had any problems with this.

Useful But Limited
This is a really compact device, lightweight and easy to slip in you laptop bag or pocket.I should imagine this works well on a laptop or anything without a case. I had to remove the case on my Samsung phone for this to be fully inserted. When it was in it worked as advertised, I was able to charge the phone using the USB C port, output to a monitor using the HDMI and it could read and transfer files to the flash disk I had inserted.I can confirm it works on the Steam Deck, but once again you will have to remove any skin/case you have on it. I will not be using with the Deck though as mounted one way it covers the power button and the other way it obstructs the fan exhaust vent by a good 50%, there are better options for the Deck available. This does not work on an Amazon Kindle Fire. The Fire does not like anything with HDMI on it, it brings up a "Liquid detected in charging port" error message. This happens with every adapter and HDMI lead I have tried on it.Whilst it does what it's supposed to do there are other adapters at a similar price that have more options. I would also be aware it could obstruct other ports you have. But if looking for a simple, compact, lightweight and easily portable solution this does the job.Only rated 4 stars because of the price and the limited options, other than that it works as advertised.
