This kit give you both the size and length flexibility to replace a very wide range of busted up battery hold downs. The J hook threaded bolts are pretty much universal. They are long enough for full size vehicles and tractors and such. They have enough thread to adjust down to shorter batteries. The one pictured is out of a garden tractor. The cross piece bracket won't go much more narrow than that. But - it works. It will also accommodate a full sized battery like a Truck or larger farm tractor.So all in all this is a good adjustable kit and at a very fair price, IMHO,

This product is acceptable. The battery bracket is functional. It is universal and adjustable. Applicable for different applications. Sturdy while in use. Adequate parts. I recommend this product because it is as described.

The battery hold down had disappeared from my outback. This fits nicely. Helps that it's adjustable, but the J hooks fit in the original mounting holes.

Somewhere along the years I lost the battery holddown for our 93 Ranger. It's one of those nagging things that never goes away. On seeing this very adaptable bracket I thought I'd take a chance. It's perfect! The adjustment on the top bar allows matching the battery width and I was thrilled to see so much of the holddown rods was threaded to adjust for any reasonable height of battery. It's possible to cut off excessive rod thanks to that thoughtful length of thread to truly make this bracket a universal solution. As long as the vertical rods can hook somewhere on the battery tray this thing will get the job done. Worth full price to me any day.

This bracket can be used to secure most car sized batteries. It has an adjustment to make it wider or skinnier for different sized batteries. The side pieces work with battery trays that have places for hooks to hold onto. If your current bracket doesn't use hooks then this might not fit without having to get creative. The bracket is painted but may need some anti corrosion spray if your battery leaks or if you tend to get corrosion near the battery. Overall it is a decent inexpensive holder if you need one.

I recently switched to a larger group 31 battery for my Land Cruiser and had to find a solution for securing the battery in the vehicle as the stock setup would no longer work. This kit was exactly what I needed.

I originally had picked up a set of cheap brackets. This is literally, measurably better. The metal is spot-welded better, and the metal is thicker. The cheaper one measured .95 mm and this one measured 1.25mm. It is much more solid. (still cheap @ under $10) Additionally, this one came with a lock washer and a washer on the wingnut the other one did not. If you are going to go cheap, then I would recommend this one. If you go cheaper, you will likely be disappointed.
