Lego gift card
This was a Lego gift card given to a friend. They thoroughly enjoyed it and were particularly delighted to receive it, especially since they are huge Lego enthusiasts. It made the gift even more special.

Perfect gift
My grandson loved the cards. Every year during the holidays he builds a great big set. This year it was Star Wars Death Star. Last year it was the Home alone house. The year before it was the millennium falcon.

Just a gift so good

Cardboard, not plastic. Pealing cover off of PIN destroyed PIN making the card unredeemable.
On Dec 23, before gift wrapping the Lego gift card I purchased for my Nephew for Christmas, I tried to verify that it had a cash value balance via Lego.com. To do this, I needed to enter the PIN#. When I removed the silver sticker covering from the PIN, the top layer of the cardboard paper card came off with the silver "sticker", destroying the PIN. Lego Customer Service said without the PIN or electronic strip the card could not be used online or in stores and that they could not help me because the card was purchased on Amazon.com I then called Amazon customer service. The representative kindly refunded the purchase balance and deactivated the card. I plan to replace it with a digital gift card that I can print and give to my Nephew for Christmas. If this works, all will end well, but the event cost me about an hour of valuable time during my busy Christmas prep-day. Shame on the manufacturer of this card for using paper and not plastic for the card. Shame on Lego for allowing this to happen and then offer no assistance. I probably will avoid purchasing Lego brands in the future.
