I found that the inside of these wheels DO have a nice edge for locking in. It's SLIGHTLY flatter than say Formula 4s. So they DO lock in better, but depending on your style you may not notice.Where they really shine though is in the outside and having a recessed nut. You can slam into and roll up curbs with zero issues.I also like this particular duro. The wheels are pretty grippy, but feel reliable on smoother skate parks.Definitely prefer these on my flat ground/curb board, but I can't see much benefit for transition skating. Bowls feel great, but that's likely just due to the softer duro.

These are the best wheels I've ever owned. No flat spots, slides well, freestyle and street skating both work well. Coconut wheelies are a bit harder on these smaller diameter wheels, but the hardness is perfect. Railstand tricks are easy with these and they work great for blunt slides as long as you use lots of wax. They feel no different for grinds. The smaller diameter also makes it a bit more difficult to ollie to your max height. I can ollie onto 30 inch ledges with larger wheels, but I struggle with these. Overall, if you like mixing freestyle and street, these are ideal.

These wheels are great. They slide when you need them to, have traction when you need it, skate like street wheels and sound like soft park wheels. And goodness the LOCK INS. Exceptional wheel, really like the staggered fit of the bearings, but the returns are minimal as far as truck real estate.
