Carne Asada

Love the taste of this beef jerky. Have purchased in the past and give it to my boys during the year. Would be great if the individual bags contained more than what they had. Will be purchasing more this year for sure.

One of the best beef Jerky I've had thus far.!

I first had these on a United flight, as a snack offering, and I was immediately like “I’m buying more of these for home!”… so happy to find them on Amazon! A little pricy compared to similar items, but the flavors are phenomenal! The meat is tender, but still “jerky”. I love to keep a bag with me when I travel or in my work bag when I will be gone for hours. Yum!

It’s jerky, but doesn’t really taste like carne asada. Just because you add some spice to it, doesn’t make it carne asada. And it’s got a weird sweetness to it. Not a bad jerky, but not my favorite, and not carne asada/street taco.

The Field Trip Grass Fed Beef Jerky is a unique snack that seems to be a polarizing force in our family. The jerky is tender and has a good chew to it without being too hard or difficult to bite off. While the texture was well received by the family, the flavor was very polarizing. The flavor is sweet and savory, with the flavor profile leaning more towards the sweet side. The jerky has undertones of Carne Asada, but I thought the flavor only came through at the end. The ones in our house who enjoyed the jerky thought the flavor was good - neither too salty nor sweet, and enough Carne Asada flavor. Two of us in the house were not impressed with the jerky, while two of us loved it. If you get the chance, it would be great to try a bag before you buy - the best I can say is that the flavor isn't for everyone. Overall, it's a good enough jerky to try at least one.
