I already use the white version of this light, so ordered this black banded one to use in my son's room as he prefers the darker design of it. This is so easy to install. Although there are some scree connectors for the wiring included, I actually used some other connectors that I already had on the ceiling from the existing light. The bracket requires screwing to the ceiling, which only takes 2 screws to secure it. The light then simply slides on and locks in place, with the electrical connector also hooking up. The light will turn on using the last chosen colour or whiteness level. You can then use the fully functional light to change the brightness, whiteness tone, select colours or have patterns of colours changing automatically. It's the app that adds the extra level of fun to this light. It connects up very easily using the Smart Life app, which guides you through the setup a d connection to WiFi. Once connected, you can use the slider to change colours, alter the brightness, etc. There's also a timer option (requires the switch left on) or other automated options. Even better, it automatically connects to Alexa or you can use Google. I can ask Alexa to turn the light a certain colour or brightness and it instantly changes. It works really well. I like that the light is also a decent size, so the output is good, lighting up the room. The light is excellent value for money for what it does. Definitely recommended and my favourite style of ceiling light in my home.

Bought this item for a young child with a sight imparment, normal LEDs hurt her eyes. This item is fantastic as she can set it to her prefered colour and brightness. One happy little girl.

Easy to fit and, contrary to expectation, very bright on the white settings. I didn't pair it to my phone as the remote does me just fine. (My smart lightbulbs were a right pain so happy not to have to bother.) Will probably buy more of these soon.

Feels like a big standard cheaply made smart light. Exactly what I paid for! Hoping it’ll do rightly when it’s up however. If you’re here for fitting advice. If like I did you have 3 wires blue, brown and green/yellow. You’ll need electrical tape and some kind of grounding screw for sure! Looks like a bog standard blue/brown set up and go so ill up date following fitting. Fitting advice should have been clearly labelled with guidance for tape as an essential.

Is great when pairing to Google home, I can ask Google to change the colour and it will do so, it can also be used with your alarm, I’ve set my light to turn on at 6 AM everyday and it does so without fail. You can set it to bright hospitable ward blinding or relaxed dim blue. Also great for lazy people or if your in bed you can turn it off or change colour from Google home or assistant. Fairly straight forward to install.

Had installed by electrician then remote didn’t work, tried multiple batteries.

The light is made from thin flimsy plastic. There is a live and a neutral wire only. These wires are very thin and a few inches long. Fitting is easy for a competent diy’er or for a professional electrician. The light works and the colours are good. The remote is not the same as pictured. Fairly easy to set up with Alexa/echo. Once set up all works ok. My reason for two stars is the way it’s advertised on here. I bought this one because it says energy rating A+. No where on the box or the light does it say what energy rating it is. The seller replied saying, they don’t put that on the product???? By looking at my smart meter I would say it’s a e or f rating. I’m no expert. Just an educated guess. I will be changing the light for a light that is definitely A+ asap thanks to Amazon. I hope I have helped someone with this review as sellers shouldn’t false advertise.

I'm not able to control them via Google home. The devices appear offline. They work perfectly with the tuya app though. Please don't buy if you want them to be voice-controlled.
