This is a very heavy well made stone I'm still in the process of seasoning it I plan on making homemade tortillas and grinding herbs and spices with it beautiful craftsmanship

I wish it was a little bit more bigger, and not chipped, but it came on time.

Worth the money!
Love it! Only complaint is there was a chipped area in the corner. I had read reviews that this happened so did expect it.

Good quality metate
I had my heart set on this Metate as an amateur chef and wanting to grind my own chilis and blue corn maiz. The price was ideal and the timing perfect. Unfortunately the packer of the seller did NOT pay attention to detail and the metate ended up cracked and totally useless. I guess I will have to go to Mexico or an another place that sells one of these items in the future.

Nice decoration
I would love to have it pre-worked to use it as a kitchen tool, but it is just a new one.

A little compromised?
It has a whole in it as shown in the photo and the legs are very lopsided so it does not stand up correctly. My husband might send back or have to fill with concrete glue and then sand down the leg. Not worth $85.00
