I recently upgraded my Assioma Uno power meter pedals to the Duo version and noticed a massive difference in power between my left and right legs. I also have on-and-off knee pain in my weaker leg. I use Zwift with a turbo trainer. So the option would be to visit a bike fitter. But they charge a minimum of 300 to 500 pounds in my local London area. I am not going to spend that amount of money as my bike only costs 700 pounds. Then I saw the author of this book, Phil, in a YouTube interview, where he strongly recommended a well-known, low-cost AI bike-fitting platform. So I purchased this book and used the recommended AI bike-fitting online platform together. This book gives me the background information I need to understand the AI bike-fitting analysis and recommendations. Overall, this book is very useful for riders who have issues like knee pain, back pain, saddle pain, or shoulder pain, etc. and also for riders who are interested in maximising their power. The author describes different bike fitting techniques and their pros, cons, and nuances. You can use the static bike fitting described in the book, but it is far less accurate than dynamic video analysis used in an AI bike fitting platform, where you upload videos after each adjustment.

Outstanding book for bike maintenance. Even if you are not going to be turning wrenches yourself, it is always good to know what is involved before dropping your bike off for a tuneup!
