Enf860 Call Blocker for Landline Phones, Blacklist/Whitelist Dual Mode, Block spam Calls by Number and Name

UPDATE 07/12/2025 Blocked calls are now total 2481 in a year. Nearly all of the calls from different area codes have stopped, but have been replaced with spoofed calls from my area code. The block by name feature allows me to block those. For a lot of the calls I have to use both the block by number and block by name. The scammers are relentless. It is a relief to not hear the phone ring so many times a day. A legitimate caller that isn't blocked can leave a message on my answering machine. The scammers will not leave a message. The local phone service provider still has not improved their limited means of only blocking by numbers. I use the combination of this call blocker, the number blocker function of my land line phone, and the local phone service provider's number block function. While this machine may need some improvements and doesn't work for everyone, it has been a great for me. I still recommend it.UPDATE 05/19/2025 - This device has now blocked 1858 calls by name and number. Those are in addition to the numbers I can block on my local service and the numbers I store on my landline phone. Still working great. It works with my answering machine. All Unavailable, Unknown, and Suspected Spam numbers are blocked. I put a few numbers in the Add To Family option. Have had no problems receiving those and people can leave a message. I still highly recommend this device for anyone with a landline. Hopefully the local phone companies and cell phone companies will do a better job of blocking the spam calls.UPDATE 08/02/2024 - I am now up to 467 blocked calls. Thank goodness for this device. It works.UPDATE 06/27/2024 - Three days of use and I am now up to 54 spam calls. All are now blocked automatically. So glad I purchased this device. I have found it easy to block calls by numbers and and name. When I push the button to block the call, the "Successful" message pops up on the display, letting me know I have done it correctly. I did have a few calls there were not labeled by my caller id and I was able to manually block them. It is so satisfying hear one ring and know the call is being blocked. Definitely recommend this device. Wish there was one of these for cell phones.Original Review - Call blocker was delivered around 1:30 PM. Easy to set, just plug it in to the landline and phone. By 4:30 I received 4 "Suspected Spam" calls. I pressed the "Block By Name" button for the first one, and this little machine took care of the rest. Calls number 2, 3, and 4 were automatically were blocked. My phone rang once to alert me. It is amazing to say the least. I have been receiving10, 15, 20, 30 calls a day from "Suspected Spam" and "Unavailable". Can't wait till I receive the next "Unavailable" call and I all I have to do is press the "Block by Name" button. I will still get spoofed calls since those are computer generated by the bad guys, but my spam/fraudulent calls will be reduced by 70%. So far I am delighted with this purchase. Here's hoping it is durable and keeps working for a long time. I recommend it. It is working when nothing else I did worked. Will update if anything changes.

Don't buy this product. Let me clarify what I mean. Yes this works you put it on family mode only the people on your family list will be able to reach you you put it on block mode and it will block certain spam callers that were already pre-programmed in there but that will still allow scam callers and telemarketers to call your phone that are not programmed into that device. So it works really well. I had it set to family list on our phone the main line and it has been quiet except for the people approved on that scam call blocker for the family list. Now my family is saying that the device is acting up and stopping certain people from calling from the family list. They would rather let the phone ring 30 times a day from telemarketers and scam callers and answer them to tell them to screw off then let this device do its job. When I say don't buy this product I mean because your family may not appreciate this device and it actually stopping these calls from going through. My elderly parents are complaining that certain people on the approve list still aren't being allowed to call and yet those elderly people have cell phones and they have been told to call their cell phones. So instead my family decided to unplug the device or switch it to block mode and let the calls come through regardless and rather answer these phone calls and get frustrated 30 times a day because they're going to come through. If you're looking for something that's going to stop the calls and block them get it it's a good product. Me personally my family just makes me think that this is a waste of a device because they can't appreciate the silence we've had in the house since June of 2024. A little bit of a side note even on family mode telemarketers may call your phone they will not be allowed to be run in but they may still be able to try and leave a voicemail but that's about as far as they get. I'm going to miss the Silence of not having the phone ring 30 times a day because of telemarketers and scam callers.
