This necklace would make a great gift for horse lovers. The chain is on the shorter side, which is nice for younger people. The length can be adjusted by hooking different loops. The chain probably can't handle any strong tugs on it, but it still looks nice. The horse is adorable with the heart cut-out. If you want to give this to someone other than a daughter, you can remove the card, and then cut notches in the black velvety back. I think it actually looks more elegant that way. The necklace includes a card with a "I wish you happy every day" saying. Not quite our typical American greeting, but oh well. You can always toss that out if it seems a bit too corny. The gift box is a nice looking blue box.

The media could not be loaded. This is a quality product! I really like it’s quality and small size. Definitely gift worthy as it comes in a beautiful blue box with a card to your daughter. If you don’t want to give it to your daughter, you can still use the box and the necklace just fine although it seems you may have to cut a little corner slots in the black pad if you do not use the daughter card. It also comes with a thank you note and a little plastic baggie. That says “best wishes. I wish you happy every day”. Yes it says I wish you happy every day, not, I wish you happiness every day. I kind of like the simplicity of the statement. What a wonderful product and it will make a wonderful gift.
