So I don't know about survivability- this review is strictly based off everyday carry use. Although, if I were to say anything about the subject, I would prefer to have this knife on me, than no knife at all. Anyways, as the title implies, the knife can be sharpened to as sharp as a box knife. Comes dull as all hell out of the box, but what do you expect for $6? The craftsmanship is also exceptional, both blade, and handle. I love that this little guy is full tang, as well. It feels absolutely satisfying pressing my index finger down on the spine of the blade, as I guide it through cardboard, tape, paper, zip ties, etc. I'm not sure if the sheath is also made in Pakistan, but it's amazing as well. The only gripe I have about the sheath, is that you better have a THIN belt width wise, or else you're going to have to figure something else out. I mainly just carry it in my pocket, especially since I live in sweatshorts/pants. I think the toughest thing I have put this thing up against were the zip ties, where they were stil pretty easy provided you can put enough pressure on the tie. Kind of like... a box knife... 🤔 Thank you for this great product for less than $7.50. Would recommend to anyone wanting a small, EDC, full tang knife. I hope you like as much as I want it was do.

Handle a bit smaller than tang, so it needed a little touch up filing to be smooth. It's small so read description. Perfect for concealing. Sheath is thin leather about 2mm thick but seems good. Fits well in sheath. Not sharp on arrival, but easy to sharpen. Seems like good steel.

It's "cute", small, the quality of the knife is ok, and the sheath is real leather, so for the price, it works. Super tiny, but looks like the pic. The sheath has a small loop on the back. Too small for a normal belt, but you can strap it to whatever. Too small to really use for skinning any large game, maybe a cool looking back up to your back up knife on a hunt. Strap it to something and you wouldn't even know it was there, and after a while it might not be. There isn't much keeping it in the sheath. Worth a few bucks.

Ultimately, this is a cool little knife! I bought this with the assumption that I would keep it at my desk to use when opening packages… so I didn’t really expect much (especially given the price). At the end of the day, it does (mostly) do what I wanted it to. However there are a lot of significant inclusions in the metal, including a pretty significant crack/seam near the tip. It didn’t come too sharp, and I was sharpening some other knives, so I figured I would sharpen this one more. It took quite a while, and I was able to get most of the blade sharp, but where the inclusions are never really was able to get sharp. In addition to the inclusions in the blade, there is also a pretty significant gouge out of one side of the handle. It obviously got caught on the sander when they were finishing it, and they just sent it out the door instead of fixing their mistake. I’m a little sad that there are such significant inclusions, but again, I wasn’t really expecting much different. The sheath is fairly nice as well. The leather was extremely dry, but I put some leather oil on it, and it turned out pretty nice! It softened up, and holds the knife well. The sewing isn’t bad, but I wouldn’t be too surprised if it needs to be re sewn at some point… but given that I’m not planning on carrying it with me regularly, it should last for quite a while. Overall, it is a fun little knife that is good for very simple tasks. If you don’t expect too much, you will be happy with it!

I was very pleased with my purchase. I read the description, it IS as described by seller. It's a beautiful little knife, nice wood handle, full tang & ok sheath......mine stays solid in sheath, but at a slightly cocked angle....."belt loop" is small. You will need to do modifications if you want to feel secure carrying it not inside something else. I would buy it again. High quality for price. It earned a place in my mini cook/picnic/camp kit. I was able to put a decent tomato/fruit cutting edge on it using my quick V shaped sharpening tool (easy for most folks) & it seems to be holding it reasonably well. It would make an awesome kid's knife......with proper safety, etc., etc.

This is a tiny knife, the advertised 4.75 inches is the total length of the knife; the cutting edge is only about 2.25 inches. Calling this knife a "Skinner" or a "Hunting Knife" is a misrepresentation. This tiny knife might serve as a Letter Opener; I doubt that it would be of any use as a knife. The poorly made leather sheath that that comes with the knife is too large for this knife, but it may be worth more than the knife.

This is an awesome little knife. Ever since I got it i have carried it around my neck to use in place of a pocket knife which i carry in my backpack. Cheap reliable and useful for small tasks. Don't abuse this knife and it will last. Think of it as a package opener and it will last. Yes it had a chip it the blade when i got it , but that was easily fixed with a stone. This knife came razor sharp out of box and i mean razor I was able to shave the hair off my arm. The sheath holds the knife in place while upside down very well and i have no worries of it falling out anytime soon. My mother even wants one of these knives because she thinks it's "cute" for whatever that's worth to anyone. At $6 what have you got to lose.

Do not buy this knife unless you are skilled at sharpening a knife. It came so dull, I could not cut cardboard. I have bought sharper letter openers.

Purchased as a gift. I also bought many similar styles. Very small but I knew that when ordering. Price was dirt cheap so wasn’t expecting much but these knives are amazing! Very sharp, extremely well made, leather sheath. I will be purchasing more if the price remains low.

Si es muy pequeña , pero perfecta para traerla en todo momento , para cortar cosa pequeñas , pelar fruta , abrir cajas etc . Se ve de buena calidad y hecha a mano y no es china es de Pakistan eso le da puntos extra.

En realidad es pequeño este cuchillo. Me gusta mucho la funda, su olor, su olor, el filo con el que viene y la sensación de las cachas de madera. Todo es de gran calidad. Incluso la hoja y las cachas traen una ligera capa de aceite. El filo es excelente para una herramienta de este estilo. Como a todas mis hojas de corte nuevas, le di una pasada por el asentador para mejorar el filo de fábrica.
