Before I express any criticism I just want to say that this chairs are super comfy. The backrest is profiled very well same for the seat. They also look very stylish and posh (if you bothered with such things). With regards to assembly it's another story. Please make sure that you have some linen (or olive) oil, sanding paper, wood glue and some power tolls. I have bought two of them and both had similar issues: - poor finishing with rough surfaces that required sanding, polishing and protecting with oil - one of the side parts was partially broken (wood split that required gluing) - many holes were drilled poorly and required milling machine to fix it (then protecting with oil) - one of the threads in the nut was broken so I had to re-thread it - armrest holes are drilled a bit too far, so you need to put a lot of force and bend the wood to align them with the frame - missing screws on seat and backrest - some steps in the manual could be in different order to make assembly easier The assembly itself would be actually quite straightforward if the quality of components and drilling alignment would be better and more consistent on all parts. So if you are lucky you may not have any of the above issues at all. All in all I think that this is still good value for the money if you have patience and some DIY skills.

These chairs are excellent. They took me just over an hour to set them both up following the advice here - only hand tighten all the nuts before you fully assemble it. Becomes obvious when you’re on the final section and if you’d tightened all the screws and bolts before the end things just wont align up. Also, don’t fit the bar first… it makes attaching the arm rest supports to the seat section quite tricky (considering the position of the nylon washer) so do that once the arm rest supports have been attached. Out of the box, this chair is a piece of cake to assemble (notes above!) and we were drinking gin and tonics in under 2 hours. I’m quite a big chap and found these chairs extremely comfortable. Wife likes them as well so win win! I can see these getting better with age when treated often with some good wood oil (teak).

Two chairs were purchased. Easy to assemble, looks more expensive and comfortable to sit in. Why the poor review ? One chair came without fixtures….extremely poor customer service. Chairs arrived in June . After weeks of back and forth communication. They finally were able to send missing fixtures only to have an incomplete set , still missing bolts. Excellent product if you don’t have to contact customer service with a problem. Buyer beware!!

Very pleasantly surprised with the quality and great looks of this chair. I have been looking to buy an Andirondack chair for years. To actually find one of this high quality made of sustainable hardwood at this price is truly amazing. I bought two and managed to put them together myself within a couple of hours. The bolts and screws are beautiful shiny brass, very sturdy and the hex keys included were a great help. Instructions in English with clear diagrams. Sturdy packaging and the chairs come out smelling of teak oil. I thought I would need cushions but they are comfortable enough without them. I am over the moon and will use them both for inside and outside the house they are that beautiful! They are made by people who know what they are doing and look and feel like they will last for many years.

This is a lovely garden chair at a great price, but assembly is footery. The first issue concerns the white plastic washers which sit between the wood pieces to space and presumably stop squeaking. These washers could do with being sticky-backed on one side because when you are assembling I found I had to roll some sellotape to create double sided tape to hold them in place while I located the pieces and got the fasteners into place. Without the sellotape it is near impossible. The second issue is one of the slats is held in by a screw that protrudes into the hole one of the front leg bolt needs to go through. This was easily backed out and then screwed in again after the chair was all assembled. Apart from these assembly challenges - which are easily overcome if you know to do the above out of the box - the chair is fantastic and comfy. The oiling could be better and more even, but you'd want to oil this yourself each season anyway to protect it, and for the price you are getting it is a really nice lawn chair. Very happy.

Super chaise très qualitative et rendu génial j’adore

Wir haben vier davon, seit 2 Jahren. Super komfortabel, praktisch, schön und sehr haltbar. Wir benutzen 2 davon drinnen, denn sie sehen auch dort gut aus. Die anderen sind auf dem Balkon! Super Qualität. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Parfait

Der Stuhl kam wie versprochen zügig und genau gemäß den Angaben des Verkäufers. Die Montage war jetzt nicht sooooooo leicht, aber konnte man gut schaffen. Er ist sehr gemütlich und man kann darin sehr gut und lange aushalten. Für sehr große Menschen ist die Rückenlehne etwas kurz und man kann den Kopf dann nicht anlehnen.
