I definitely recommend the rigid plastic collar over the stacked innertube types. I regularly tweak my C3 & C4 bulged discs, and this device gets me back to normal without having to go to PT every time. It is not real large, so people that are overweight or have really thick necks will have fit issues.

Didn't feel like it fit very well. Made it a little harder to breathe when inflated. Maybe if you have a very thin neck, it would work for you, but it was very uncomfortable. Item was returned.

This unit most definitely provides a better option to static bracing for some conditions as long as your expectations are realistic. Adjustments should be made to and not beyond your personal comfort levels and done incrementally. 15 minute sessions should suffice and provide compression related relief (depending on your specific condition) over time. It will most definitely lend adequate support and pressure during therapeutic neck flexation exercise regimens. I’ve been prescribed and have used many (non-narcotic) pain relief methods over the years and this particular option offers me the ability to safely adjust the pressure to my specific needs. Having said this, as I continue with incremental increases of pressure I can foresee the need for a greater level of pneumatic expansion as I am of a larger physical stature. In all I am satisfied with the trial performance and the relief that it affords me as an “entry level” unit and can most definitely see myself investing in an upgraded model with a greater range of adjustment.

This was a totally worthless product. The Velcro is absolutely terrible and will not stay and gives no upward support to the neck, it's like having a terribly weak blood pressure cuff around your neck

It did stretch neck but at same time at a bad angle so as to create tingling in right ring and pinky fingers. I have a bone spur at C8 poking my nerves going down my right arm to these 2 small fingers. I settled on a much more expensive Saunders traction unit, but it does the job. They did take it back and I understand for a full refund. The low star is not a reflection of the product just how it worked for my condition.

I have a bulged disc in my neck. Sometimes the pain would shoot down to my shoulder or my upper back. When I use this, the pain is gone within 30 mins!
