Ballpoint Pen 96K

I was really excited to try this camera, as I've bought others (although not this kind) from Amazon and have had really good results. This pen/hidden camera was a total disappointment, which was surprising considering all good reviews it got from others. When charging the first time to allow for it to be programmed to the needed mode, it felt unusually warm, but not hot. Later when I attempted to turn it on, it would only flash the blue light rapidly (the instructions say it should flash blue twice), and never did show the yellow light to indicate that standby mode had been entered. Since it had been a few days since the initial charge, I thought maybe it needed a refresher charge. But after charging it for only a few minutes, it became hot to the touch and I disconnected it immediately. I was never able to get it to record at all, and am sending it back in disappointment.

For me it did not worked at all, pictures or videos; instrucion manual is a joke

picture quality is not as specified,it has a green and red highlight throughout and defenitly does not work at all, 1080HD is not true at all.

I charged the pen until the yellow light was constant as the instructions stated. I inserted my micro chip and tried turning the pen on but it only flashed blue and would shut down. Not working at all.

This is a scam. Do not buy.

My son in law is what I call a real nerd, he loves everything that has to do with the techie world. I am always trying to find him gifts that are fun but will also interest him. I believe he will love this spy pen, after all I had a good time playing with it to see if it would be a good gift for him. This is something that is super fun because all you have to do is hook it on your front shirt pocket and secretly record your friends, co workers, etc. This spy pen is super easy to use. Once you charge it, insert the micro sd card and the bottom of the pen back on. Then you press down on the top for a few seconds and a yellow light comes on, then press it again and it goes to a blue light and it is recording, press the top again and it goes into a standy mode and also saves your video, another press and it turns it off. I was truly amazed by the sound and the picture quality of this spy pen. I took a few pics of my monitor screen when I was viewing the video. This is also a pen and it comes with extra pen cartridges, an extra bottom to the pen, 2 USB cords and instructions.
