The fit is adjustable as long as you order the size within your measurement range. I like the fact that the speakers cover the ears to keep them warm in cold riding. They sound fine, but are not high fidelity speakers I like the fact that I could answer my phone while riding by merely pushing a button and talking. This helmet is more substantial than your standard bicycle helmet. It is of course rated for E bikes up to 28 miles an hou. Ther strap is adjustable and comfortable. The flip up visor is a very nice convenience in colder weather. I don’t yet know if this helmet would be too warm to wear in the hot weather. It looks like it’s well ventilated so I will have to wait till summer to find that out. The only thing I don’t like about it is the lights won’t come on unless it gets dark, but I didn’t buy it for the lights. I may be wrong about their functionality, but that’s what the instructions say. Ride safe.

This is a well-built helmet at a very good price. Looks good, fits well. The ear muffs/speakers on the bluetooth version are also cozy/warm in colder weather....The bluetooth function also works very well. When there's a bit of wind the volume is a bit low in the ear-speakers, but that's ok. 90% of the time the volume is loud enough. The front and rear lights are also well thought out. The turn lights also work fine (by tilting your head), but I honestly don't think this is really functional on any helmet.

Review of ILM E3-12LS roll-out... once Bluetooth wireless audio headphone system assembled. Location: Shellharbour, New South Wales 2hrs south-coast from Sydney capital in Australia. Environment & Climate : Wednesday April 8th ....HOT Sydney Summer heading into Winter. Currently 27 - 30 degrees Celsius this same delivery day and twilight / night ride. Result: ILM E3-12LS is HEAVY "ice hockey" style helmet / "stack-hat" compared to conventional Specialized ALIGN or CHAMONIX longitudinal vented bicycle criterion road cycling helmets. Experienced a bit of E3-12LS helmet fatigue over a long ride...but hey! I was wearing this new unit in. Because of todays test rides, I think most north Americans would agree that high ambient temperatures was trapping a lot of HEAT from upper body extremities i.e.. the "NOODLE" inside the helmet. However...in the coming few weeks it's going to get much colder down-under, so all is AOK for a future WARM and comfortable ride with pleasant AUDIO. The Bluetooth pairing to my Samsung Galaxy S23+ Android smartphone worked flawlessly. I'm connected with the Spotify App on this handheld Snapdragon computer / phone....it has a fabulous digital camera & audio on this device. I was disappointed that ILM & Amazon did not CONSOLIDATE or bundle my X2 VISOR(s) order and pack it in the very same ILM E3-12LS order / box-set... made obvious in the first place ! I am patiently awaiting X2 VISOR(s) shipment and I've checked tracking and it still has NOT made a move...."Giddy UP" Amazon / ILM on my E3-12LS CLEAR & COLORFUL visors , please. Also noticed that the FRONT light on the helmet is not that bright.....and seems like its designed for RIDER IDENTITY and is not powerful enough to light up the road or pathway ahead ! Seems this needs attention and improvement. Rear lights also work on identity and signaling vehicles behind the rider AOK. Did all testing on the FACTORY CHARGE and have not needed to recharge as yet. Everything else seems AOK so far....will have to review again after a good 6 months of use through winter. These days treating people well is rare by most vendors and service providers. Usually they don't care, ignore you, or blame you for their shortcomings or poor quality. This helmet is of great quality. Cool features. way stronger and safer than the average bike helmet. I had one issue with it (that turned out to be my mistake) and they immediately responded with apologies and initiated a swift refund. No questions, no arguments, no frustration. So in appreciation and gratitude I leave this positive review. I hope karma balances the scales and tips them in their favor for this kind act. I hope it inspires 10 more people to purchase their product. The ONLY thing I would say is not perfect on this helmet if I am being truthful is the front light could be a little stronger, the bluetooth speaker could be a little more powerful, and the automatic light activation feature is cool, but there could be a manual option for the times at dusk when it is not quite dark enough for the lights to come one. I solved that issue by purchasing an additional helmet mount light. Other than that, this helmet is close to perfect, better than most others, and definitely stronger and more protective than any others I have seen. I am sure their other products are made just as thoughtfully with equal quality. Give them a try if your'e on the fence between another product.

The helmet design, the visor , the sound, the lights all are fine, but now, after week using it, the battery doesn’t charge,, the charging light goes green, but you turn it on and the headsets says please re charge, nd dies. Very bad quality…

Loved the fit and eye protection

I bought this for my daughter to use with her new ebike. She loves it!! The Bluetooth feature is indispensable. She can hear everything around her but can also hear her GPS right in her helmet. I also love the safety aspects of the light on the back and lightweight face shield. It looks absolutely amazing on her and fits like a glove. My only complaint is with the face shield not wanting to stay in the up position after she had used it for a few days. That's not a huge deal for her because she uses it down anyway. This is an extremely high quality product that performed way beyond my expectations, even with the sun visor issue. I would totally recommend this to anyone who needs a good lightweight helmet with lots of tech.

I think this helmet is well constructed, fits nicely and adjusts comfortably. However, the bluetooth speakers need to upgraded you can’t hardly hear them. I don’t know if that’s by design for safety or just poor quality. I would recommend the helmet without the earphone version.

Nice helmet that shines bright with added visor

So far so good. I just did my first ride since receiving my helmet. Out of the box everything look great. I charged the Bluetooth speakers then the helmet. Today’s ride was short, 30 minute ride mostly to try helmet. 0c (32f) with a light wind. As others have mentioned, the speakers aren’t loud, but even with a slight wind, I was able to hear the music. Oh for sure, cranking it up a few DB’s would be great, but it probably wouldn’t be safe. I havent tried the phone call yet. Maybe on next ride. As for the helmet, I was comfortable and my head was not cold. My next ride will be at night to try the light features. So far, I’m impressed.
