I have a Pomeranian and his hair gets matted easily. This comb definitely helps detangle and separate his hair, it was exactly what I needed for his daily grooming/brushing.

This is a good pet comb that works for longer haired pets. I used it on our cat that has longer hair and it worked well getting the tangles out without ripping out her hair. It didn't do anything special for our short haired cats fur though.

This comb works great on dogs. We have two dogs (one that is more fluffy and sheds more and one that sheds very little). We are able to use on both dogs without any issues. It easily removes loose hair as well as any undercoat hair that your dog may have. It is easy to remove the hair from the comb to clean it (just remove hair, rinse and either towel dry or let air out before the next use). Very effective.

This comb works quite well on my long haired fluff ball of a cat. The comb is wide enough to be effective, yet small enough to get into the harder to reach areas around the legs. The bristles come to a bit of a point, making them somewhat sharp, which makes my cat absolutely love being brushed. He thinks he's getting some good scratches, while really he's having all the loose fur and tangles removed. The thick, soft grip make it comfortable and easy for me to use, I was pleasantly surprised at how effective this comb was. Price is just right, and this is a great addition to one's "pet drawer".

I have a Samoyed and a main coon and the comb did a great and quick job at detangling and dematting any hairs. Super easy to hold in your hand and use for long periods of time. The brush was also really easy to clean as well. Highly recommend to anyone with a pet that has long hair.

I have a doodle and she has a LOT of under coat. I usually use a rake to get most f the hair that's shedding off her. I always had to use multiple brushes to get her cleaned up. I picked this up hoping I might be able to knock out one or two of the brushes. This thing works pretty well. This is similar to another name brand brush I have used in the past. This has the longer tines to get at the under coat while also cleaning up the top coat. I still use a few brushes, but this one has become part of the rotation as this has made cleaning the under coat a lot easier.

I like this dog grooming comb a lot. I've used it on our little mutt (coton, havanese, king charles mix). Her hair is soft but has a prominent undercoat that is prone to matting. While this comb isn't exactly for the thicker undercoat, we keep her clipped rather short, so at the shorter length, this comb works well. Our furbaby is quite headstrong and doesn't enjoy grooming, but she will tolerate this comb longer than the brush we were using. The handle grip is nice and the tines appear evenly spaced. It works well.
