I have wanted to by a saucer style hummingbird feeder for a while now and I am glad I finally got one. I set this out near my old hummingbird feeder and they took to this one instantly.I love that I don’t have a bottle in the way obstructing my view of the birds now. It is very enjoyable to watch the birds come throughout the day to their new feeder.I like that this has lots different flower designs. Not sure it actually matters to the birds but it is a fun design and it makes it colorful.It is made of a nice thick plastic. Time will tell how it holds up to the sun though.It took just a tiny bit of work to get the feeder balanced. With how wide it is the nectar tends to go to one side. I found that screwing the rod in or out a little bit changed it enough to get it just right though so not a hard fix.

I am an avid hummingbird fan and have owned a variety of feeders. This product, by design, is leak-proof and made of durable plastic. It is most likely top-rack dish washer safe. The middle contains a water moat to keep ants from reaching the feeding ports. The flower ports pop out for easy cleaning or replacement. This style will also accommodate a heater in case a bird chooses to remain throughout the winter months. The only feature I wish it had is bee guards, as we live in an area with a variety of bees and wasps.
